What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Good for beginners
I use a BCAN, too and am happy with it...check FB marketplace, you may be able to find used for a deal.
Affordable compared to competitors
A less expensive version of the Bellicon are the [Leaps and Rebounds](https://leapsandrebounds.com/) available in 40" and 48".
Which rebounder is good that I should buy without breaking the bank?
Honestly, I think I’m around 250 pounds, but I haven’t weighed myself in a while.
I just received a BCAN two weeks ago and IMO it's a completely fine rebounder.
Good size for home use
The size is good.
Good for weight capacity
I hope it doesn't break! I weigh 126lbs, so maybe it will be fine.
Positive initial experience with use
Seems like I just need to go for a higher quality and more expensive piece of equipment now that I know I love doing it every day.
Good for everyday use by kids
My middle schooler uses it daily for jumping and the springs started breaking off of it within a few weeks.
Bungee type provides a softer bounce
BCAN has a whole line. The one I have is a bungee type
Larger size improves workout experience
I love my bcan 48". It's my first rebounder but I appreciate the larger size.
The 48-Inch is BETTER — By a Wide Margin!!
I just looked at Amazon and they have a 48" BCAN with the bar for 169 and a $40 off coupon, so it would be $129 for a brand new one.
Affordability of used options
I believe I paid less than that for a new bscan on Amazon shop for deals too much for used!
If it’s bungee and you have to stretch it yourself the used one is a better deal, stretching bungees is a great way to break a nail
Great for beginners
I LOVE it!! Love love. It’s the only exercise I’ve ever looked forward to and I do it every day.
Provides a softer bounce
I already tell I love the easy softer bounce on this one.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Not suitable for serious rebounders
BCAN busted in like 3 months. I logged a ton of steps.
These rebounders seem like low quality, cheap rebounders that I know I wouldn't be satisfied with and would probably end up giving up rebounding if that is what I owned.
Stability bar legs loosen over time
the legs to which they're attached are loosening, resulting in the bar being very wiggly.
I am thinking of taking the bar off but I just tighten as best as I can.
Concerns about product quality
they are all a waste of money.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on frame and mat size differences
Rebounders are advertised based on the size of the frame but the mat is always smaller.
Discussion about different trampoline styles and their suitability
This was the only kind of cardio that i as a kid could do until i dropped, and I've always missed it so much! I know there are Olympic style trampolines out there, but they say that these can be really dangerous for beginners because you can gain some serious altitude with those things.
Get a new trampoline. Just Got my kids a new 14 foot round one for $200. The fabric degrades over over time and used isn't worth the risk.
I recommend a rectangle if you're planning on doing any tricks. Worth the cost premium.
I wouldn't worry. My brothers and I worked a rectangular trampoline hard for 15 years.
Discussion on durability of bungee vs spring trampoline
I’ve had it for a few months now and I’ve broken one spring. They sent me 6 replacement springs no charge and told me to let me know when I’m on the last one.
Most reviews we've had suggest our springs last longer than almost all competitors, but again, everyone's mileage will vary.
Discussion about shape preferences for stability
Bcan rebounder 48inch round or hexagon best? The hexagon legs bow out whereas the round doesn't.
I've been looking at them as I've read that they create more stability, as they're wider than the mat.
I’ve had both round and hexagon and don’t think it really matters.
I have a hexacon because it was esthetically pleasing, gave me a lot of extra playroom (i dance on it), compared to just round and I really don’t know if it’s better or not as it’s my first and only rebounder.
Comments on different trampoline models
I'm glad I got this one

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Users prefer learning without a stabilizer bar
Personally I chose to skip the stabilizer bar, because I have heard that it’s better to learn without it.
Honestly once you get comfortable I find there’s no need for it.

Recommendations for alternative brands
Check out our colored 350 pro series, definitely a bit more of an investment but all parts are replaceable, awesome warranty, and she can pick her favorite color or get our PRISM, which is rainbow!
You can often find a high-end rebounder second hand on FB Marketplace if you are interested
I’ve had a Leaps & Rebounds for about a year now. Recently, several clips on the mat broke. L&R has a lifetime warranty so I submitted the form, but it took a while to receive the replacement so I ordered a new mat for $50 along with some new bungees, which aren’t covered under warranty. The free mat did arrive eventually, so now I have a spare. I figure I’m going to need to replace everything once or twice a year. Still cheaper than a gym membership!
I own a jumpsport and tried a bcan. Get the jumpsport or if you want a cheaper one then get the leaps and rebounds.
Comparisons to other brands
Kanchimi vs BCAN I'm looking to get an inexpensive rebounder.
Instructions recommend regularly tightening legs
I have a bcan and I have never had the legs loosen at all, but my understand is that in theory it can be an issue with any straight-legged rebounder.
Discussion about value of larger vs. smaller trampolines
I like the idea of keeping something from being trashed, so I buy used when I can.
Discussion about other brands and their pricing
I don't want a rebounder that you can get from Target I want one that is designed to perform best for the body.
Discussion about trampolining effectiveness for fitness
Trampolining is 3x as effective than running
bouncing around is reaaaallly tough. It got me exhausted in no time, and Im in good shape.
I have never felt more physically exhausted than the time I went hard at a trampoline center.
screw that 3x marketing BS.
Suggestions for alternative trampoline brands
Acon has a few competitors in their range. I think we listed them here in this sub months back, but I forget the names.
Mention of cost considerations for trampolines
Plenty of people fully enjoy "low-end" trampolines that don't cost THOUSANDS. geez.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about marketing claims
Devil is in the details. The marketing people are probably comparing a leisurely jog to going absolute max on a trampoline doing competitive flips or whatever.
"More effective" is an incredibly broad claim too.
There's a common topic at r/fitness about how your workout should center around what you want to be good at.
Personal experiences of exhaustion from trampoline use
It's still only going to be effective if you do it as a workout over a long period of time
I feel my stomach physically being pulled to catch up with the rest of my body with each bounce after a while, even on a mostly empty stomach.
Discussion on in-ground vs. above-ground trampoline safety
They’re also more expensive. But they are sturdy as hell!
Whichever brand of trampoline you choose, bouncing is a fantastic way to stay active and have fun!
