Snoop's Take

The Braun Series 7 7032cs Flex Electric Razor is designed to provide an efficient and comfortable shaving experience for men, whether wet or dry. With its 360 Flex adaptive system and AutoSense Technology, this electric razor adapts to different beard densities, ensuring a close and clean shave. Consumer sentiment regarding the Braun Series 7 is mixed, with many praising its lightweight design and durability. Users appreciate the performance for short beards, stating, "I’ve always got good results with mine," while others have reported issues with the razor skipping hairs during shaving. Despite these concerns, many long-term users highlight its longevity, with one saying, "I love it and will get another one when/if it finally breaks." Overall, the Braun Series 7 7032cs is recommended for those looking for a reliable electric razor, especially if you prioritize comfort and durability over the closest possible shave. However, potential buyers should consider the mixed feedback regarding performance and battery issues before making a purchase.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I have a Series 7 and it does a good enough job for a 1 or 2-day beard.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Good performance for short beards
Thanks for the heads-up on this. I have a Series 7 and it does a good enough job for a 1 or 2-day beard.
Great for personal use in shop environments
The Braun shaver is heavily reduced on Amazon atm, just wondering if anyone that’s used it in a shop environment would recommend it?
It is actually one of the best foils I’ve ever used. The cleaning function isn’t that great though.
Lightweight and comfortable to hold
I have one and it doesn’t cut as close as the babyliss one.
Long-lasting performance
I love it and will get another one when/if it finally breaks.
Should last another 10 years easy.
Good results with multiple days of beard growth
I’ve always got good results with mine.
Good for personal use
Great that it has worked out for you! It's always worth trying.
Durable design and long-lasting performance
I've been using a Braun Series 7 - 790cc since 2011 and it is still humming.
Durable and long-lasting performance
My Philips Norelco just died after a few years of good use.
Braun 5 or 7 series is supposed to be the new best from their line.
Best electric razer I've ever owned.
I have a Braun series 3 even that I've been using for years.
Good results with regular use
I've had a 7 series for 6-7 years now and haven't used the cleaner I just replaced the foil every year or two.
Good performance for facial shaving
Best Braun electric razor that isn’t the series 9 I don’t have series 9 money and it is out of stock everywhere locally 😅.
I have a Braun 7 for my face and love it but it took way too long to do my head.

Braun razor skipped hairs during shaving
literally skipped over all the hairs on my neck area.
I am here to say do not get it.
It didn’t shave at all. Only took spots here and there.
New Braun Series 7 redesign received poor reviews
The Panasonic Arc 5 is significantly cheaper and shaved closer and quicker than the S9.
Expensive for what it offers
I would say if you can wait till it’s on sale at Costco (maybe around Black Friday?) then yes.
this one doesn’t have the cleaning tool and is even more expensive.
Battery issues with Braun shavers
Braun has indeed battery issues. To the point it randomly turns on and off during the day lol.
It can be difficult to find someone to replace the battery in your Braun or many other brand shavers.
Foil heads degrade quickly
the foil heads are awful. I notice a significant degradation after 3 months.
Quality has dropped over time
quality has dropped.
Takes numerous passes for a shave
Suffice to say my face is irritated and rashy, even with a generous after-shave applied.
No matter what, I couldn’t get acceptable results. It took longer, resulted in more skin irritation, and didn’t do as good of a job as any cartridge razor.
The actual shaving was especially painful filled with a lot of pinching. Now my skin feels super irritated, might indicate razor burn.
Requires facial adjustment time for effective shaving
The high-end shavers are worth it and almost necessary to get passable shaves out of the Braun series IMO.
Braun razor doesn't provide a close enough shave
Can't get a good shave with Braun Series 9 Pro, persist or return?
You do have to experiment with multiple passes. Make sure you’re going both with and against the grain, despite Braun’s marketing.
It's abysmal. Tried multiple ways, multiple times. Looked on amazon, and one guy said people were getting it free for reviews.
Poor performance compared to older models
I miss the single foil Braun razors from the 80's.
Battery issues with older models
Only thing is the battery. It needs to be plugged in to use.
Cleaning dock has poor reliability
the dock was trash for me and died in 6months, I just clean mine out at the kitchen sink lol

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
General discussion on shaver preferences and experiences
I have very sensitive and dry skin and even a very careful wet shave with a DE razor and top-notch shaving soap leaves me red and pock-marked.
I have a heavy beard as well. I use a Philips Series 5000 and I'm quite satisfied with it.
Discussion on various electric shaver brands
Braun is the gentlest of the foil shavers compromising closeness for a more comfortable, acceptable shave.
The improvements to the sound alone justified the purchase in my mind.
General discussion on foil head longevity
How long is everyone getting out of the Arc 5 foil heads? I only get 3 months out of the Braun S9 and wondering if I should be switching.
General interest in barbershop foil shavers
Thanks for the reply man, would you say it’s worth the investment over the other barbershop foils?
Interchangeability of shaver heads
All Series 9 heads are interchangeable
Discussion about the difference in shave closeness between Braun Series 7 and Series 9
If the improvements from the 9 are in other areas that aren't shave closeness I was thinking of getting the 7 but if the 9 does shave closer I'd be willing to spend a bit more for it.
What does the water icon mean on the 7? Is that the cleaning required icon?
Foil shavers shave closer, rotary shavers are stronger
Best electric shaver, rotary & foil? No text content
Foil shavers shave closer, rotary shavers are stronger.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion on the effectiveness of electric razors compared to manual shaving
Electric shavers don't cut cleanly so they end up tugging.
Mention of using safety razors due to difficulties with electric razors
I gave up on electric years ago.

Preference for rotary shavers over foils for sensitive skin
Things like how sensitive your skin is, how coarse your hair is, how sharp/defined your facial features are etc.
My current shaver is a Panasonic ES-LT2B.
Comparison of electric shaver models in terms of shave quality
Did you see a difference in a clean shave since upgrading to the arc 5?
Yeah a much closer shave for me. I did not get any irritation from the closer shave as well and I have sensitive skin so I am loving it.
Preference for portable and budget-friendly shavers
So long as it’s reliable I’m in
Philips OneBlade is pretty good if you don't need one of the mesh/grater-style ones.
I have the Philips Norelco OneBlade and love it.
If you aren't looking for clean shaven and can deal with a cord (actually my preference) I've gotten over a decade of use out of my Wahl Peanut and it's still going strong.
Discussion on less expensive alternative electric shavers
Effective shavers that aren't so expensive like Braun? I want to buy an electric shaver.
The mechanics of most electric razors are the same. The only difference is slightly design or maybe blade height (which will dictate how close of a shave or the effectiveness).
Comparison with Braun Series 9
I got the Braun Series 9 Sport+ from Costco for $150 (was $200 but on sale) and it comes with the charging/cleaning dock
I haven't used babybliss so I can't comment on whether Braun is more efficient.
Discussion on various electric razors and price comparisons
Are the most expensive electric razors (braun, philips) a waste of money compared to the cheap $30 ones you can get at any walmart?
There are dozens of electric razors on Amazon with prices up to $699.
You dropped your Braun hundreds of times before it stopped working? I think there's your answer.
I bought a Braun 7-series, and it works great. I'm never buying a cheap electric again.
Comparison of Braun shavers with Philips Series 9000
Right now, the normal series 9000 (S9986/58) with a cleaning station is selling for a really good price ($200).
Both Philips and Braun offer extremely good products, but they also have different strengths and weaknesses each and they produce different results.
Thanks for all the details! Deciding between the two for my husband
Question.. Since I hate reading instruction manuals... How in the hell do you pop out the beard trimmer on the series 9000?

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Issues with electric shavers that cannot be used while charging
Never again your ewaste Philips, or any other brand. No buy if it does not work plugged.
Preference for Panasonic Arc 5 over Braun for closer shaves
The Panasonic Arc 5 without any doubt shaves closer and faster than Braun Series 9.
Concerns over third-party replacement heads
Note that Amazon sells heads made by Braun as well as made by unknown companies in China.
Comment on experiences with electric shavers not providing a clean cut
asking about electrics on this sub is like asking the chef knife sub to recommend a dishwasher-safe gyuto
General discussion on electric razor reliability over time
I've seen my barber use the exact same electric trimmer for the last 25 years.
Swapping the batteries requires basic soldering skills.
Discussion on personal experiences with various brands
My braun 5 got all gross when using in the water, lasted maybe 3 years.
Preference for different shaving techniques
Definitely not as close of a shave as with my saftey razor but just way quicker&more convenient, especially since i have quite sensitive skin and get a lot of bloody spots when shaving with my saftey razor
I feel like there is a huge hardon online for wet shaving but honestly electric is better for my skin, faster, less messy for the bathroom and requires less consumable products.
