What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Handy for parking trailers
very handy for parking my trailers.
Versatile for multiple uses
The Odyssey is so much easier to park in cities than a pickup and I’m finding it much more multipurpose than a pickup.
Not aware of any bumper, but Curt makes a front hitch receiver.
Really happy with the fitment it fits really tight to the top of the bumper cutout.
It came in a few different bolt together pieces and took about an hour to install myself.
Safer with a trailer setup
Safer with a trailer setup?
Useful for recovery towing
This way you can see the shame on the jeep owners face.
This is the answer, it's for front recovery.
Versatile for multiple attachments
You can also connect thinks like a bike rack, or even a dirt bike.
Versatile for moving trailers
But now a cradle is easy and some Anderson plugs fore and aft would be quite versatile.
Easy installation for DIY users
Overall 10/10 would do it again to save $750.
This gives me a good bit of confidence going into installing my own hitch later this month.
I’m an absolute idiot but I was able to install this exact hitch on my ‘23 with no problem.
Super easy install
Rock solid installation and performance
it's rock solid once installed.
Easy installation
Installation was pretty easy solo but another set of hands would have helped.
Useful for transporting bikes
I’m going to do this for the bikes!
Fits snugly in the 2022 Tiguan
It fits snug but I’m really happy I finally got it.
had to remove the valance…no issues…22 sel

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Storage issues for trailers
spending the time to unfold and put it together every time made it too big a barrier to make me want to actually use it.
Challenges with wiring solutions
the issue keeping me from going this route is the 7-pin connector and the auto-engagement of towing mode.
Challenging installation without help
Wasn’t too challenging to install but def easier with two people.
Height impacts visibility
However it raises the height of everything and when hauling bikes they protrude well over the hood and you lose some visibility.
F-150 front suspension may not handle additional weight without modifications
the F-150 has a much weaker front suspension that might not be able to handle additional weight without mods to the front suspension.
Potential ground clearance issues
it looks like it hangs low enough that it'd hit parking blocks. I had a friend with one who smashed it on a curb with his F150 and it felt like the end of the world inside the truck when that happened!

Discussion about comparing brands and their functionalities.
Just picked up my first RAV4 (2022 Hybrid Limited) and would like to have a hitch installed.
But if the online pictures are anything to go by, it looks like the curt is a straight bar, and the draw-tite is more curved and should hug the body better.
I asked too much of that little truck and hitch in a pinch during a move.
