Snoop's Take

The Dexnoca Bike Inner Tire Patch Repair Kit is designed to provide an efficient and reliable solution for repairing punctured bicycle tubes. With 30 vulcanizing patches of varying sizes, this kit allows cyclists to quickly and effectively mend both large and small punctures, ensuring a smooth ride even in challenging conditions. Consumer feedback highlights the kit's ease of use and effectiveness, with many noting that the patches dry quickly, stating, "Just a minute or two should be fine, it’s quick drying!" The portable storage box is another praised feature, making it easy for riders to carry it on their adventures. However, some users expressed concerns about the kit's reliability in certain situations, with one remarking that the patches may not be suitable for all types of damage, indicating a mixed reception. Overall, while the Dexnoca Bike Inner Tire Patch Repair Kit has positive aspects, including its portability and quick-drying patches, potential buyers should be aware of its limitations in certain repair scenarios. It may be a good option for casual cyclists looking for a handy solution, but those requiring more robust repairs might want to consider additional options.

Positive Feedback

Managed to limp it after filling up three times with air to Firestone, where they informed me that you can’t patch a tire that’s had fix a flat or whatever in it.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Quick drying patches
Just a minute or two should be fine, it’s quick drying!
Five minutes is plenty.
Quick and easy to use patches
What Tire Repair Kit Do You Carry? What tire repair kit is everyone using? The ARB kit seems like a no-brainer, but I'm honestly liking the contents (and case) of the Smittybilt kit.
Tire Mobility Kit is legit I had my second flat today with my EV6. First I ran over a hug bolt and my tire was destroyed and I had to replace.
You used the white goop? Oh that tire shop is gonna be so excited to see you roll in.
Can I patch this? Dealership says I need 4 new tires Hey car guys and gals, I got a screw in my tire, dealership said it couldn't be patched and I need to get 4 new tires because the tires are currently at 5mm.
Portable storage box
Do yourself a favor. Don't buy a cheap plug kit.
Widely compatible with various vehicles
All in though it saved me from buying $1,600 of tires.
Easy to use
It's saved me and I also saved a friend from work from being stranded with a puncture.
Effective for repairable punctures
well at least the customer gets a new tire and feels safe and someone who's broke as fuck gets a good tire that's patched up and safe
They say it’s not 100% but I’ve used these plenty of times and they have worked 100% of the time for me

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Not an effective tire repair solution
Managed to limp it after filling up three times with air to Firestone, where they informed me that you can’t patch a tire that’s had fix a flat or whatever in it.
It's... Not a tire repair kit
Everyone should toss that thing out and spend $20 on one of these: https://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty-automotive-tire-repair-kit-58593.html
I double bagged mine (because they have a habit of leaking) and put it in the front trunk, hoping to never use it.
Some kits are ineffective
The Stop n Go plugs DO NOT WORK. Repeat, they are useless.
Not a 100% reliable solution
Well.. their success rate is not 100%, but that puncture is about as good as it gets for being repairable.
If a random tire can fail so can a patch.
Only thing that goes in the hole is a plug but it’s not even air tight.

Discussion about patching techniques and preferences
I would plug it and keep an eye on it for a week or so.

Discussion about patching techniques and times
I found a couple of old threads on here recommending Rema Tip Top, so I got a patch kit and just finished applying the patches.
A few minutes is totally fine. Don’t be a noob like me and inflate your tube outside of the tire to see if the patch is holding and stretch the patch.
Instructions on my zefal kit say to scrub the area, apply the cement, wait for 30 seconds for the cement to dry then apply the patch and wait for 3 minutes before inflating.
Plus think about the field that would be needed to magnetize debris as you travel down the road and
Discussion about sealant vs. standard patch
It worked and got me back in the road to the tire shop.
I wouldn't use sealant if I could avoid it.
Using all that sealant is terrible.
It's no better or worse than using an off the shelf option.
Comparisons of repair methods
I guess tire plugs are like condoms. When enough idiots try to use something, there are bound to be some failures.
Discussion about tire repair techniques
Firestone Tires is saying that this nail is too close to my sidewall and I should replace my tire instead of patching it.
Since they have to grind down the patch area, they have to grind more to insure a solid bond.
Thanks for the explanation. I've had one shop refuse to try a repair like this while a different one was ok.
Most shops use patches but a rope plug kit can be picked up at most auto parts stores for relatively cheap.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion about tire repair kit preferences and experiences
The ARB kit is in all my vehicles because more often then not I’m too lazy to put on a spare.
I keep a cheap Slime kit in my car. I also have a 10 year old Safety Seal kit similar to the ARB but I keep it at home.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of [Boulder Tire Repair Kit](https://buzzepicenter.com/boulder-tools-tire-repair-kit/). Simple, convenient and does not take up much space.
If you're going to be in the middle of nowhere and dependant on yourself to self repair, you should absolutely go with quality stuff:
Discussion about tire repair preferences and experiences
Unless it’s an absolute emergency, I’m waiting on the side of the road for a tow truck rather than wreck my TPMS sensor, render the tire non-repairable, and potentially damage the wheel.
Carrying tire plugs and a small compressor is the way to go-if you’re mechanically savvy of course
Discussion about the product being a temporary solution
So like fix-a-flat?
Yeah. It's basically fix a flat made for higher psi.
Discussion about dealing with leaking repair kits
The capsule finally did what I was anticipating.
Let the dealer know and they'll replace the kit and the carpeting.
Discussion about tire repair kit experiences
I found out about tire shaving! Tire Rack offers it. I have a subaru and had a flat tire to replace, It still had alot of life on the others.
Discussion on tire repair experiences
Cust doesn’t trust plugs and patches. Paid for a new tire.
A habit for my dad while I was growing up... need to patch/plug a tire, turn it into a full size spare.
I’d say in between, just so I don’t have to push the stupid plug through the thicker rubber.
