This comprehensive kit includes a high-quality stainless steel burner, ignition kit, and all necessary accessories for an easy installation, making it perfect for DIY enthusiasts looking to create a stunning fire pit experience. Customers have praised the kit for its effective smoke reduction and aesthetic appeal, with one user noting, "Not having smoke in your face while you enjoy the fire, it's great." Many find the convenience of using propane for a smokeless flame a significant advantage, though some have expressed concerns about the limited heat output and the need for regular cleaning to maintain its appearance. Feedback indicates that while it is easier to use than wood-burning options, the kit may be considered overpriced by some customers. Aesthetically pleasing for high-end events
Seems like it would be cool for a high-end party.
Easy to clean with auto glass cleaner
it will just wipe right off with auto glass cleaner and probably take 5 minutes.
With how easily it wiped off in the video, I'd be shocked if it took more than 10 seconds per brick.
Easier to use than wood-burning options
The wood is just SO much more work
High-quality stainless steel construction
Knowing how they delivered our bed a few years ago we were wondering if anyone has had a good experience in the past with them fire tables.
The double-walled smokeless ones look flashy, but are they worth it?
Convenience of smokeless flames with propane
Use propane for a smokeless flame?
Works fine for gas pits
Probably fine for gas pits though
Effective warmth when sitting close
my husband says it will not give off enough warmth
if you move a few feet away, you won't feel any warmth.
Different media can enhance heat retention
most heat output is going up and not on the side where you seat.
I want something that retains heat.
Convenience of quick ignition and use.
If I could click it on and off I'd likely use it way more.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Gas fire pits provide limited heat.
I have one that I converted to natural gas. It uses a lot of gas and doesn't heat up the area that much.
Do not get a gas fire pit with the expectation that it will keep you warm, because it won't.
Overpriced for functionality
I think it is both overrated and overpriced.
I agree that it's overpriced for what it is, but we're heading into year 4 now and i take it with us on family camping trips so we don't need to use the smoldering charcoal tub that makes everyone smell like smoke for the next 2 days.
Requires regular cleaning to maintain appearance
They’ll be washing them regularly if they want them to be transparent.
In the video it literally cracks a brick after one fire and also gets dirty.
You've never tried to clean glass fireplace doors and it shows.
Can crack under high heat
I don’t think I even ran it for 30 minutes at a high setting.
Concerns about safety when water is introduced to fire
What happens when someone inevitably puts water on the fire?

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on heat output and media used in fire tables
The media you use in it... stones will be heated by the flame and then radiate heat.
Anything higher than 24" won't throw a lot of radiant heat.
Discussion on adjustable temperature of gas fireplaces
That's a gas fireplace, so temperature is adjustable to some degree.
Discussion on preferences for wood vs. gas fire pits.
If you’re asking this question it means you probably won’t use it very often.
Discussion on building fire pits with durable materials
While your Cousin Jimmy has gotten lucky with the bricks he found behind his shed, you should buy kiln dried, firebricks or refractory bricks as these will survive the heat and not crack.
Used a stack of bricks that came with our house when we bought it to make a fire pit, each year at least one of them disintegrates and I swap it out with another from the pile.
Preference for portable fire pits
Bro come on not everyone wants a permanent fire pit in their back yard.
Interest in quality and durability of fire pits
Radiates heat super well, I put a grate in the bottom from Amazon for some airflow.
Atmospheric comparison between propane and wood fire pits
I don't use the propane
Wow! Sounds great! Can this create the same atmosphere as a wood burning fire pit?
Discussion on aesthetics of fire pits
Had some help from a very curious GSD
Interest in alternatives to traditional fire pit materials
Would be sweet for smokeless charcoal fire, but with log it would smoke up before it's ready for sausages I think.
Discussion on durability of fire glass
Would the glass be a propane accessory?

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Exploration of alternatives to glass fillers for heat retention
I knew I wanted to avoid the glass fillers but it is eye opening to know lava rocks also do not work! I read that ceramic works well so will look into that.
Discussion on DIY fire pit options and materials
in search of quality fire pit I am looking for a good quality, round, larger than 25 inch fire pit for my back yard.
Just build one. A ring of bricks, and a floor either concrete or brick or slabs, whatever.
Honestly, I did this last year, was wonderful and easy, of course, but it took my backyard all year to recover and I don't really want to deal with that again.
it's not designed to be removable, it's supposed to be a permanent fixture.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Interest in the costs and materials for building fire pits
Trying to get a rough estimate we should expect to spend to build out a similar fire pit setup from these ideas.
Fire pit alone $2000-$2500
That’s dirt removed from site, geo fabric with 6” compacted base(outer diameter+6”) 20” tall 10’ long seating wall, custom cut coping wall and fire pit caps, 2 vents, grading and seed/straw yard repair I do 5-6 a year.
Concerns about using fire pits during warmer months.
There's something very calming about sitting around a bonfire just chatting and having a drink.
Discussion on aesthetics vs. heat in flames for fire pits
I realized that if I cover the two ventilation holes at the bottom of the burner stem where the orifice shoots the gas, I get the yellow flames I want.
My firepit is outside and I'm focused on aesthetics as opposed to heat, which is why I want yellow flames.
Burning yellow is bad for gas. It's going to burn dirty and not put off as much heat.
Interest in natural gas conversion for fire pits
While you should be ok with your setup, I would recommend identifying your pit by make and model if possible and researching the specifics for it when converting.
The only way I was able to achieve my desired yellow flames was to cover up the air inlet holes underneath. I just wasn't sure if it posed a danger.
Concerns about the maintenance of glass materials in fire pits
Just clean the bricks.
Hm sort of like a pipe for drugs gets dirty.
Interest in building and costs of fire pits
Material or for a contractor to do it?
Comparison of propane and wood-burning fire pits
We just knew that our friend and her family will come to Malibu for vacation in early December, and our family is planning to have their family over to our new home, thus having a party in our yard then.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Interest in smokeless fire pits for health reasons
Anyone recommend a good smokeless firepit? One of my neighbors has asthma and smoke bothers her, so I'd like to buy a smokeless firepit, but the Yukon solo stove is like $400 right now.
I decided to go with the Dragonfire low smoke fire pit from Costco. I'll give a review after my first fire with it.
Please do! I’m in the market for a fire pit and would like something wood burning that isn’t going to bother my neighbors.
I want to build a gazebo to hang out in he rain but would to have a firepit (wood, not gas) and was thinking about roof designs.
Concerns about comfort of seating around fire pits
they’re concrete and people usually want the nose of the cap as an overhang because it looks better, but that’s a concrete bar across your back.
all that time and effort and then you don’t even wanna sit on it for more then 30 min lol
The stone seating is just uncomfortable.
Discussion on the practicality of using glass in fire pits
Glass is a great fire pit material as long as there is a real fire pit inside of it.
Debate on smoke output of fire pits
They do what they advertise pretty well. They aren’t truly “smokeless” but there’s a lot less smoke than the bowls put out.
