Snoop's Take

The Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine is a centrifugal extractor designed to quickly transform whole fruits and vegetables into nutritious juice. With an extra-large 3-inch feed chute, it allows for minimal prep time and features an 850-watt motor for efficient juicing. Consumer feedback highlights its ease of cleaning and effectiveness in producing smooth, pulp-free juice. As one user noted, "It's plastic, but works very well and is easy to clean," reflecting a common sentiment that the juicer is beginner-friendly and performs effectively. However, some users expressed concerns regarding juice yield, especially with leafy greens, suggesting that more advanced models might be better for serious juicers. Overall, the Hamilton Beach Juicer is recommended as a great introductory juicer for those new to juicing. While it may not provide the highest juice yield or quality compared to more expensive models, its ease of use and cleaning make it a solid choice for casual juicers.

haven't tried juicing yet, but l'm considering starting with a cheap $100 Hamilton centrifugal juicer.

Positive Feedback

I have a Nama J2. They are way more efficient and you save money in the long run by not having to put double the ingredients to get the same amount of juice from a centrifugal juicer.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Easy to clean
haven't tried juicing yet, but l'm considering starting with a cheap $100 Hamilton centrifugal juicer.
You won't regret buying the Nama J2 and you'll save $200 by buying it used. It's easy to use and easy to clean.
Been thrilled with the Nama in comparison.
Shouldn't your juicer plunger NOT be long enough to make contact with the centrifuge?
Makes smooth juice with no pulp
What is the big advantage to a slow cold press juicer? They cost like 5 times more than what I have.
Works well
I just bought this Hamilton Beach big mouth juicer.
Great find! It works great!
Easy cleanup with plastic bag
Plastic bag in the waste side for easy clean up and make sure you let the speed stay up there, I mean dont ram stuff in there to fast.
Quick and easy to use
If you juice daily centrifugal! Masticating takes too damn long.
quick and easy, minimal prep work and clean up, multiple uses - smoothies and protein shakes as well juices, and you keep the pulp = FIBER (stuff that makes you poop)
Great intro juicer for beginners
The thing does not have to last me 10 years or anything like that; I just need something to get me started to see if doing something like this is actually feasible.
I absolutely love it, and definitely recommend it for someone just getting involved.
I like this juicer and recommend it. It's compact, cleans easily, does a good job juicing (even with spinach and ginger root) and it's incredibly cheap for a juicer.
Strong motor and well-built
It has a strong motor and is well built.
Good enough for leafy greens considering price
Do you find that it does good enough with leafy greens?
Works somewhat for leafy greens
How the hell do you juice spinach? It seems like you need 3lbs of spinach to get a 1/3 cup of juice.
You can't really juice spinach in a centrifugal juicer. At least not very efficiently.
Fast juicing with minimal prep
90% of the time I choose the centrifugal Breville over my 'better' juicers because it's faster, requires less chopping of the produce and clean up is faster.
Easy to clean up after use

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Not efficient for juice yield
I have a Nama J2. They are way more efficient and you save money in the long run by not having to put double the ingredients to get the same amount of juice from a centrifugal juicer.
You are more likely to enjoy juicing with a better juicer like the Nama.
I get a little pulp with certain things, the other day I made Ginger/Carrot/Beet juice and I had some. It’s definitely less than my old centrifugal juicer. I love my Nama J2 overall, 10/10 from me.
Juice quality not as good as cold press
No pulp from cold press juicers. I believe the main difference is that you get more juice out of the produce without the heat generated by a centrifugal juicer which destroys enzymes in the juice.
Much better for batch juicing!
Unsafe design with potential for plastic shards
Ugh they're only willing to replace the food pusher even though there's plastic shards everywhere.
Overheating and potential fire hazard
Do NOT get the Hamilton Beach one!! I used it every day for a two-week juice fast and at the end it overheated, almost caught fire, and broke.
Leaves wet pulp, lower juice yield
you just wont get the yield that you would get with the more expensive ones
Inefficient for juicing spinach
If you want the best yield from leafy greens (spinach, kale, chard) a masticating juicer is unbeatable.
Not recommended for leafy greens
You would get more juice if you used a masticating juicer.
Juice quality inferior to cold-pressed
Cold-pressed is always going to be better.
Cold pressed is still better, and actually more economical because more juice is extracted using this method rather than centrifugal.

Discussion about the zing in juice from centrifugal juicers versus slow juicers.
that zing in juice does anyone remember using a centrifugal juicer and there would be that zing in the juice that you don't get when using a slow juicer?
You can get that zing if you try juicing in an Omega 8006 model juicer. I couldn’t go back to centrifugal after that.

If you were going to get a juicer for your bar that was smallish, nice looking, and could be used mostly for fresh pineapple, but occasionally for larger batches of things like making fassinola and orgeat, what would you choose.
Discussion about centrifugal vs masticating juicers
There were many opinions on which type of juicer was the best option as far as time management, clean up, nutrition, and temperature, but I felt the need to turn to my trusty Reddit and ask your opinion on the matter.
I want my juice minimally aerated, which is why I'm opting against the centrifugal.
