Snoop's Take

The MOOG K8361 Radius Arm Bushing Kit is designed specifically for Ford F-150 models to enhance the vehicle's suspension performance. This kit features durable bushings that are easy to install and replace, ensuring a smooth ride and long-lasting reliability. Consumer sentiment about the MOOG K8361 has been mixed. On the positive side, many users appreciate the ease of installation, with comments like "Not a hard job, especially if not is rusted," and the reputation of MOOG as a reliable brand. However, there are concerns about fitting issues and a perceived decline in quality, as one user noted, "Moog used to be a top brand for suspension and steering parts, sad to see them fail to be reliable now." Overall, while the MOOG K8361 Radius Arm Bushing Kit has garnered positive feedback for its initial quality and ease of use, potential fitting issues and quality concerns may deter some buyers. It is recommended for those looking for a reputable brand, but caution is advised due to mixed reviews.

Easy to install
Damn that’s crazy. I got moog because of all the Reddit comments on other posts I saw while researching.
That it was apparently designed this way doesn't instill much confidence.
Easy to replace with new bushings
Not a hard job, especially if not is rusted.
Good initial quality of parts
When I settle on a brand I always go for that brands most expensive series.
If i had to guess the problem savers are still build like they used to.
They are holding up pretty well.
I’ve had them for a year and no issues.
Convenience of greasable fittings
They're so convenient!
MOOG is a reputable brand
Or there is MOOG which I've never heard of for $9.70.
MOOG is a good brand however for a $20 difference you should just put the VW parts in.
MOOG parts have been reliable in the past
I've never experienced a Moog or Timken part fail in my life.

Potential fitting issues

Quality has declined over time
Moog used to be a top brand for suspension and steering parts, sad to see them fail to be reliable now.
All Moog parts are made in China.
All moog parts are now made in China period.
Car jerks and clunks after installation
the car feels like it jerks around too much in 1st and I’m getting light suspension clunking sometimes.
Aftermarket parts quality concerns
I just buy from them and not worry about aftermarket parts quality for the effort involved to get the front sway bar bushings on and tightened down.
Get OEM or poly.
Parts do not fit correctly
The moog endlinks on my car were a really poor fit but I think that is just an issue because I'm not running a stock sway bar.
They didn’t even last a year, the ball joint we’re starting to go. So I was very disappointed.
Customer service issues regarding warranty
Never seen that one before.
Extremely bad.Take them back buy another brand.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about material type
Are these poly?
Moog lower control arm pivots into frame - suggestions?
Discussion about grease fittings
Don't they offer Moog links with the grease fittings? Those ones are typically the best quality as far as aftermarket goes.
Discussion about greasable vs non-greasable parts
greasable are usually weaker due to the cross drilled holes
not one of them was predrilled or even included the grease nipple.
Discussion on different grades/quality of Moog parts
I prefer the moog only because I would get the price on it...but would go with one that has the best combination of price and warranty.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Discussion on OEM vs aftermarket parts
OEM is the more expensive - aftermarket are the cheaper alternatives to it, but might be wrong.
Advice on using machine shop services for installation
If those are press fit bushings (looks like they are) you might be better off buying the whole arm unless you know a guy to help you.
Conversation about cost-effectiveness of bushings vs control arms
Not a terrible idea either if theyre trying to save some money and are somewhat handy to take the arms off.
Discussion on cost of OEM vs aftermarket parts
they’re $46 from mazda, not $2.
Opinions on OEM vs aftermarket parts
OEM over MOOG every day and twice on Sunday.
Discussion on fitment for different model years
DO NOT ORDER MOOG CONTROL ARMS. The moog control arms have a small hole and the ball joints will not seat well.
02-06 Base = same throughout all years ball joint (small taper and body)
Need for FAQs on fitment issues
This needs to be added to the FAQ or something, theres a few if these threads every year.
Discussion about other brands and pricing
As for the brand names moog is good, mevotech is good as well.
I put Lemforder on mine like a month ago, so far it's been smooth.
DIY installation advice
For that price, I'd pull up old YouTube University and do it yourself.
If you’re not afraid to DIY then you can get new control arms for a couple hundred bucks and replace them yourself.
If you’re able to and south of the salt line they’re not bad to do yourself.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
General discussion about Moog's reputation
They have a premium cost, and a subpar performance.
Discussion about gap in bushing fit
a gap is fine. as long as it’s tight, that bushing will mechanically perform the same function as one that closes.
Depends on if it's got play or not
General reputation of MOOG
they looked beefy and well made but they lasted almost exactly 1 year.
They forgot the fucking zerks though.
Discussion about country of origin affecting quality
might it have something to do with country of origin?
The Moog tie rod ends I got for my 240 are actually made in USA.
Discussions on the manufacturer's location of parts
Moog parts is no longer made in USA.
Discussion about the absence of bushings leading to negative camber
So this is how the previous owner achieved that much negative camber.
Somehow, I can hear those knocking noise.
Bushings are for the weak !
