Positive Feedback

I bought a ninja, and despite the name, it is ridiculously loud, to the point i wont use it, as my main plan was for mornings before work, while the wife is asleep

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Compact and easy to store
It's just easier to manage the personal size one all around.
I have a ninja one. It is great.
Easy to clean, dishwasher safe
Get a ninja. They’re on sale right now for a 100$ usually 200$. Will do smoothies all day long.
Thanks! I did model a home and surroundings. Vegetation is from blendermarket (shaker trees), interi
Convenient for single servings
I hear everyone say that Vitamix blenders are an entire step above.
Powerful motor for frozen ingredients
the motor's powerful. If you want to avoid tiny little ice chunks in smoothies, you need a powerful motor.
Portable and convenient size for personal servings
the 2 big brands seem to be the ones above. I'm leaning towards ninja due to it being able to crush ice
I honestly was too prepared for my purée stage because I still have soups and gave away the rest of my baby food.
I got mine at Sams Club and it came with personal cups which I like better than the larger blender attachment.
We have a ninja and love it. Haven’t had WLS yet but I do use it often.
Great for smoothies and milkshakes
Best personal blender on budget I am looking to buy a personal blender for my room in college, one in which I could make things like smoothies/milkshakes and drink right out of the same container.
Easy to use with preset functions
put your stuff in and hit the blend button. 45 seconds later you have a smoothie.
Compact and lightweight for portability
My favorite ninja for smoothies honestly. Mostly because it churns the food unlike the traditional ninja that you many times have to shake or restir etc.
Dishwasher safe functionality
I only hand wash mine for the same problem as OP.
Powerful blending capability
My Vitamix turns chia seeds into butter.
Easy to clean with self-cleaning method
It is very easy for me to clean my ninja blender.
Half fill with hot water, add a couple drops dish detergent, put the lid on, stick it on the base and blend. Easy peasy.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Loud operation can be disruptive
I bought a ninja, and despite the name, it is ridiculously loud, to the point i wont use it, as my main plan was for mornings before work, while the wife is asleep
Accumulation of gunk in dishwasher
Why are you putting your blender in the dishwasher? If it’s decent you put some soap and hot water in it, turn it on for a bit, then rinse.
Difficulty in fully blending ingredients
I hate the shape of the blades and how it never fully breaks down seeds in my smoothies.
Difficult to clean due to blade design
Ninja blenders are a PAIN IN THE ASS to clean.
There’s no way this gets everything

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
General discussion on blender performance
Blenders: what's the difference between the $20, $100, and $500 options? I've owned a $20 Hamilton Beach blender for the past 5 years and have had no issues with it up until now.
A blender is a blender. Well, it is until you own a Vitamix, the life changes.
America's Test Kitchen did a video of the results of their testing of blenders not long ago. They a
Project Farm also did one as well. Top search on YT for blender test.
Discussion on personal food needs during recovery
The pureed stage honestly seems the most daunting for me.
It made about 6 meals for me and was delicious even warmed up.
Discussion on blender comparisons and performance
They last longer, Mine broke 7 years later and they sent me a new one, Their ability to puree and crush are better.
If I could stuff a ninja into a vitamix to destroy it without hurting the vitamix I would
Would love to have some nutritions smoothies.
Discussion about Ninja Creami vs. Ninja Blender
Does anyone think I could replicate the ninja creami ice cream with other ninja products?
The Ninja Creami is a totally different machine then the blender and I just got one last week and I’m impressed on how the Ninja Creami really delivers a creamy ice cream or sorbet and the coolest thing about it is that you can control what goes in to your ice cream or sorbet and you can make it as healthy as you want without all the sugar a typical ice cream has
Yes! Absolutely! I just brought a Vitamix. I am buying the Deluxe Ninja Creami to make ice cream using bottled protein shakes!
I made my first batch of ice cream last night. Agree they are different. Im sold on the creami! I made frozen vanilla fat free monster yogurt. So good.

Comparison with other brands and models
Buying it as a stand alone item is about $85. It would have been half that price to buy the larger package when I made my purchase.
My wife loves smoothies but this little cheap $15 Hamilton Beach one smells of burnt toast every time I run it longer than 30 seconds.
Vitami has “single serve” adapters. But slightly less BIFL, and a lot cheaper would be the ninja foodi smoothie bowl maker.
Breville immersion blender. Mine came with a container to blend smoothies and such in.
Discussion on comparing brands and models
Not looking to hear advice on using a good blender with a mason jar or a full size blender.
Vitamix just came out with their personal blender. I have never used it but I love my full size CIA Professional Vitamix!
$400 for a personal blender is fucking stupid; I understand that the assembly/design costs are going to be similar to a larger-capacity blender.
I have two friends with Blendtec blenders and they both have done well with them.
Discussion on preferred Ninja models
I’m planning to buy Ninja blender but I’m not sure which one to choose.
I recommend [this one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7Y3H73/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S265954WP7WZ6ZSBBSS7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
i second this suggestion.
I got this one, it has a freaking F1 engine.

Discussion on hand washing versus dishwasher cleaning
No dulling of knives that couldn't be accounted for by thousands of uses of the blender, no problem with gears.
Discussion about cleaning methods and experiences
Just make sure to leave some room and don’t get crazy with the soaps.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about durability of other brands
Hit me with your best single serving blender recommendations! Hello all! I am someone who considers drinking a smoothie as an integral part of my daily routine.
If money isn't an issue I'd probably get a Vitamix One. I did win a NutriBullet in a raffle 10 years ago and it's still going strong.
Magic Bullet is cheap and does an OK job, but they def don't last anymore. Our older unit lasted years then a newer unit was a 6 month waste of money.
While I don't have any experience with the other brands, I can tell you my magic bullet fell apart within a few months of lite use.
Comparison with Nutribullet regarding performance and durability
I have a Nutribullet that we have had for five years and use at least twice a day. We have replaced the blades twice, but man, the motor just keeps on going.
Concerns about safety issues with other portable blenders
approximately 329 reports of the blades breaking while in use, and an additional 17 reports of overheating or fires.
Blendjet has known about the issue for a WHILE
The thought of receiving lacerations from a blender should worry you more
