Many users appreciate its affordability and easy assembly, with one customer noting, "servicing them is really easy and a pair of new bearings is dirt cheap," highlighting the bike’s accessible maintenance and parts availability. However, there are some concerns regarding the performance of the coaster brake, with comments like, "I think this video summarizes what my problem is with coaster brakes," indicating potential issues for parents considering safety. Despite these concerns, the bike is generally well-received for its design and ease of assembly, making it a popular choice among families looking for a reliable children's bike. What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Affordable option for a solid bike
the Woom 2 is probably the best if you want a high-quality pedal bike with a super smooth ride.
Kids bike assembly - wheel doesn’t fit on fork
Reliable coaster brake for kids
Replace coaster brake with freewheel My son has this Royalbaby coaster bike: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HXGSBXC/
I also am curious about the rationale. Coaster brakes are a no-fuss reliable type for kids bikes.
My kids did both balance bikes and training wheels, but we took off the training wheels at about 3 1/2, with a pretty smooth learning process.
Easy assembly with provided tools
Not a big deal, just pull the legs apart slightly and the wheel will go into place.
Sporty design appeals to kids
Our B/G twins are only concerned with the colors, not the style.
Easy to service and find replacement parts.

So you want to leave him with just the front handbrake? The worst bike wipeout I ever had was on a bike that only had a front brake.
Wow, yeah, I wouldn't put my progeny on a bike built like that.
The Woom 3 is definitely the best 16" kids bike I was able to find. It *sucked* paying for two of them, but the kids love them and they're very light and easy to ride.

Discussion about bike longevity for growing kids
A bike that is too big will be hard for her to learn how to ride.

Kids bikes? What's the best or any advice would be great
I did a lot of research and eventually went with Woom for my kid.
The other selling point of Woom is they let you upgrade to larger bikes as the kid grows.
Their upCYCLING program looks like a complete failure.
Debate on the value of training wheels vs balance bikes
They teach the easy thing (pedaling) and don't allow practice of the hard thing (balancing).
Skip the training wheels. They introduce bad habits on a bike and the kids will have to unlearn what they already know.
Discussion about budget-friendly bike options
I just want the highest quality 4 year-old bike not associated with a cartoon or video game for less than $150.
My kid learned on a $90 Huffy. Did it survive two years of an avid kid cyclist? No. But he's six and can ride 11 miles easily, so I think he's okay.
A used one in good condition is still going to be better than the crap you get at the big box stores.
Kids' bikes are ridiculously overbuilt. The amount of use they get is usually limited by the kid growing out of them, so unless it's gone through 5 kids and they were all maniacs, odds are the bike will more than work for you.
