Solid build quality
That wheel chock is solid though
Doesn’t seem to be any damage from the car falling off the jack, other than some slight scuffing and denting on the dust shield.
I love these tires.
I just put them on my FWD explorer and haven't had a chance to really test them in the snow yet, although we have 6 inches forecast for this weekend, so maybe I'll find out soon
Strong and durable material
Is it safe to make my own wooden wheel chocks? I assume it would be fine but I thought I’d ask.

Difficult to remove from chock

Disengaging when the engine is off kinda defeats the point of a *parking* brake.
Highly recommended. Install at Costco.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Recommendations for improvising wheel chocks
Got some big rocks or pieces of wood? That's what I use in a pinch
Literally anything that it won’t roll over. Piece of wood, piece of anything that’s sturdy.
They obviously don’t grip on ice the best but for everything else they have been superior.
We run full time with an 18,000lb 5th wheel. We've tried many of the choices and eventually went back to yellow plastic camco Lego blocks.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Chocking wheels is seen as unnecessary by some
My favourite is chocking wheels, disconnecting the air lines, putting on an airline lock and then having to give them your keys...and either sit in their waiting room for hours or in your not running truck in freezing weather.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about parking brake reliability
Wouldn’t 3 wheels in contact with the ground in park be enough to stop a roll?
It was definitely 100% actually engaged, I watched the hud indicator click off after about a minute
Disengaging when the engine is off kinda defeats the point of a *parking* brake.
No trouble on the ascent, no trouble in the packed snow/ice/slush parking lot, no trouble accelerating to get back out onto the road, no trouble cruising back downhill after a day of skiing.
Concerns about the need for chocks in certain situations
It’s done to prevent moving or rolling.
I had one shipper that requires chocks in front *and back* of the wheels.
