What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Tornado tables are highly recommended for quality
Everyone here will say used tornado. Save you the time.
If you're talking Costco then I assume you're in the US. If you are you want a Tornado Table.
Do tournament soccer tables play better than tornado ? Are they both good is one better than the other ?
Tornado or bust
Tornado tables are known for durability
A used tornado might be anywhere from 500-1500$ (depending where you are, good info to add) but you can replace parts easily.
Flimsy compared to Tornado.
In the US, the best , most popular table is the tornado t3000 ice box.
Good luck finding what makes you satisfied but my two cents say if you find an elite in your price range, buy it, you shouldn’t be disappointed👍
Used Tornado tables are significantly better than new low-cost tables
A used tornado for $400 is gonna be light years better than any brand selling a new table for $400.
Tornado tables provide competitive gameplay
Looking for a heavy table where balls don't get stuck in corners.
Practicing on the off-brand tables provided no skill enhancement whatsoever.
A nice condition 50 year old coin op tornado will play like new if it was taken care of.
Built quality surpasses new tables
Built better with better quality pfb. Will outlast a brand new table, side by side and it's going on 30yrs old.
I’d be willing to pay between $400 and $500.
Well-preserved models can be high quality
Seems to be well-kept and in excellent condition.
Tornado tables are great for competitive play
Is $600 too much for a used Classic?
Great deal. Grab it asap
Tornado tables have solid construction
Fine table especially since it’s newer but I’d look for an older table with split bearings like others are saying (Cyclone II).
Tornado tables are great for hours of fun
If you love foosball and that table above is the closest and easiest table to buy then just get it.
Great table for competitive gameplay
Great table.
Features a single goalie setup for personalized play style
It really comes down to you and your friends play style.

Tornado tables are expensive for new purchases
Recommendation needed We have a foosball table at my grad school and is used constantly and well loved.
OP’s question: What table should we get? We can’t afford Tornado.
If you think a warrior is out of your budget save your money as nothing near that price will offer good play and durability.
Many folks who buy the tournament table get them after a large tournament directly from Mary Moore.
High price for Tornado tables
I felt the Brunswick table felt smoother than the tornados they had out and less expensive.
That price is nuts. Also ew.
'Smoother' is not a good metric for buying tables. You want a table that plays well consistently, is durable, holds its value, and has aftermarket support (e.g. parts).
T-3000 if you can afford it. If you live in a major city, you can likely find a tournament used table in the ballpark of $2k.
Tornado ball can get stuck frequently
Tornado ball not fun (for beginners)? Just bought a Tornado table after playing on a cheap table for awhile.
Honestly, it won’t take you more than a couple months to be able to bounce them off the wall when they’re dead against the side wall.
No play with the tornado ball on a tornado table.
From current extreme slow rolling stops to often on dead lines (but correct/propper/tour foosball) red tornado foosball
Cost is a significant factor
The only flaw is that cost IS a factor.
Shipping costs can be high for Tornado tables
Depending on distance, maybe drive to a tournament in one of the northern states, make a trip out of it, and bring home a tournament used T3000?

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Concerns about elitism in foosball culture
Let's change for the better.
Tables under 500$ are a toy.
You make a good point.
Many of us have started with shitty home model tables, saw how they limited our game, and have upgraded.
Better or worse is subjective; it's about personal skill
Better or worse is subjective, it’s all about what you can do on each table.
Cork balls are preferred for better gameplay
My buddies and kids prefer cork balls - they bounce around quite a bit more.
Just bought some cork balls. Thanks!
Discussion about goalie options and table design
Only one goalie on a tornado?
They sell with one or three goalie options.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Avoid buying tables you can't try out first
Do not buy a table you can’t try.
Kick Legend is suggested as a good alternative
Not a preferred table, but definitely not a toy.
Quality foosball tables are not cheap
Well then you haven't done any research, good quality is not cheap obviously!
Recommendations vary widely based on personal budget and usage
Regardless, Tornados are professional level tables. They're built to last decades with proper maintenance, with readily available parts.
I am very happy with my purchase. Very sturdy. Plenty of options.
Consider used Tornado tables for budget-friendly options
I loved the TS bluetop but did not regret for a moment upgrading to a Tornado.
Costs for home models can be lower than Tornado tables
I don’t know what you pains but sadly you could get a decent home model in good shape 200-800 bucks.
Need for better visual inspection on used tables
I don’t see the issue with the playfield… can you explain further or link a better pic of the problem?
Difficulty finding specific parts for other brands
Purchase my warrior used and it was missing, saw that there seemed to be a slot where it would go, but I couldn't find the part online.
Any idea if the tornado rattle plate would fit the warrior table?
Availability of Tornado tables may be limited
It's certainly not terrible, and there doesn't seem to be a ton of Tornado's around.
Used Tornado tables can be more affordable options
I found a used coin elite for $600. Is that a good deal?
Consider used Tornado tables as a viable option
I think I’m going to go back to the drawing board and buy either a used t3000 or Tornado Elite.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about brand reputation and table quality
Brunswick is a pool table company, and they are just putting their brand logo on the table.
Brunswick likely just rebranded it and sells it for expensive.
Some tables may require significant repairs
So long as this table stays in this shape, I’m never taking it apart again.
Table condition can vary widely
Wow this doesn't even look like the same table you bought?
