I'm trying to hang a relatively high swing (maybe 15-20' high) from an angled branch (I'm guessing about 30 degrees).

Discussion about swing set stability and construction techniques
Side to Side Sway from Swing Set
The main problem is that because the legs are on a diagonal cant, uneven weight on the horizontal beam causes a sideways force on the beam.
A swing set if that design is going to rack with someone of that size swinging on it.
the legs are concreted 3 feet into the ground, and it does not move whatsoever.

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about hanging swings from angled branches
I'm trying to hang a relatively high swing (maybe 15-20' high) from an angled branch (I'm guessing about 30 degrees).
Get one eye bolt at 6" long, the other at 12" long. Mark them for the same depth (4-5"), pre-drill the holes so you don't split the branch, then put in the eye bolts.
I would think if you level the ropes when you tie them to the swing it should work normally assuming you have the rope secured to the branch properly.
I'm worried that if the two ropes are fixed at different heights, it will swing crooked.
Discussion about swings and weight loss

The only thing that's effective for weight loss is a calorie deficit.
This.
You’d think by 2023 everyone and their mom knows that abs are made in the kitchen, you can’t outrun a bad diet etc.
Discussion about tying swings to trees effectively
So now I want to attach it more permanently... but, I don't want the rope just hanging there all the time, and I also want it to be height adjustable near the bottom.
If your goal is to be able to set it up and take it down, why don't you throw the rope over the branch and then tie BOTH ends to the carabiners?
Lol I feel like an idiot, that could work great, and I guess I could make a line of knots and loop into whichever one is the height I want.

Discussion about buying used swing sets and associated challenges
Buying used swing set, dismantling, worth it? Curious if anyone has ever bought a used swing set, dismantled it, and set up in your yard.
Taking apart a swing set (being worth it) really depends on if the bolts holding the swing set together are in good shape the the threads aren't stripped or terribly rusted.
This and transportation are the biggest issues. If the bolts can come apart easily, then finding the transportation and getting it back together are usually pretty easy if you have a couple of helping hands.
Overall it was worth it. New swing sets are extremely expensive.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion about safety of baby swings
I literally just bought a Cassia Maxi Cosi Swing last night because the store I was in had a really great sale on them and I was totally unaware of this as a FTM still figuring out what is okay.
I bought one, and plan to use it when I need a few minutes to eat or something, she’ll be in it right by me and always supervised.
I will use a baby swing. But not to have the child sleep in it for naps or nights. Only to have a 10 min break to be able to eat - do other things in eye sight.
if you’re planning to supervise your baby or move them as soon as they fall asleep it should be fine!
