Snoop's Take

Baby Brezza Baby Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer Machine is a multi-functional appliance that sterilizes, dries, and stores baby bottles and related accessories with a touch of a button. Using electric steam, it quickly eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and dries items in a matter of minutes, making feeding preparation a breeze. Consumers are largely enthusiastic about its time-saving drying feature – one user even remarked, 'Seriously the drying is the best part.' Many praise its convenience, noting that it saves them hours compared to hand washing. However, the chatter isn’t all positive; concerns over limited bottle capacity, occasional burning plastic odor, and the need for distilled water have also emerged, providing a balanced view of its performance. The mix of high praise and pointed criticism sets the stage for a nuanced discussion among modern parents. Overall, the product is recommended for busy parents seeking an all-in-one sterilization and drying solution, though potential buyers should be aware of capacity limitations and minor maintenance challenges.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Efficient drying and convenient operation
I like it, because it dries.
It’s been so worth it as we need to wash bottles way more often than we need to do dishes.
So easy. When pumping, I put my pump parts in there.
it was nice to know the items were very dry before assembling them and putting them away (no mold!).
Fast cycle times
for that price I think even the partial time saved only washing the little parts is worth it because I loath hand washing dishes more than pretty much anything else.
Adequate capacity for 8oz bottles when arranged properly
It was great to have those early months!
Long-term reliable performance and consistent operation
I have 0 complaints about it.
Almost a full year into twins and no problems!
Love our brezza sterilizer and dryer
Improved capacity and added features in the new model
I personally feel like with a baby you can't put a price on time.
I’d recommend the larger one!

Requires distilled water for longevity
If you do get one, be good and try to only use distilled water.
Surprisingly we always have distilled water on hand for another appliance of ours.
I have to descale more often but other than that there's been no discernible difference in my experience.
Burning plastic smell and electronics issues
mine started smelling like burning plastic and electronics and there are similar reviews on the internet.
Limited bottle capacity
We used the dryer and sterilizer when I had pump parts (so still had to hand wash) bc the washer only fits 4 bottles.
It says it fits 4 bottles.
Overall, we love it and it was a lifesaver the first few months especially.
The idea is amazing but it looks like it can only fit a few bottles at a time.
Incomplete cleaning for bottles and pump parts
I personally don't think it was worth it. It didn't wash our bottles completely.
I personally didn't think it worked fast enough for that in the beginning when they had me pumping every 2 hours.
Burning plastic odor and smoking issues
The Baby Brezza smelled like an electrical fire and it got to the point I sat and watched to see what was going on.
Frequent cleaning of parts required
you have to clean a part of it like every 4 bottles. I would consider that with the larger one, is it really getting you more if you still have to clean it at the same frequency?
Overloading leads to parts falling out
while it sterilizes perfectly well, bits and pieces will fall out when you lift the lid, kind of like Jenga but with nipples.

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Alternative bottle sterilization methods and maintenance tips
Not sure why people who own dishwashers buy separate bits.
The NICU had me wash my pump parts and bottles with hot water and soap.
My second baby, a NICU baby, the nurses were like you can wash the parts with warm water and soap and let air dry.
I can understand wanting something that cleans more stuff at once if your baby was only bottle fed.
Alternative cleaning methods being used
But if your dishwasher isn't always ready to go, then I'm sure the bottle washer pro is worth it.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Skepticism about the need for sterilization
There’s really no real need to.
You are 100% creating the healthiest immune system for your baby by doing this.
Descaler safety reassurance
My baby didn’t get sick or show any weird symptoms. There is nothing dangerous in the liquid.
Sterilization does not replace manual cleaning
I wash all my baby's stuff by hand because I don't want it mixed in with our other dishwasher stuff.
Sterilizing doesn’t remove residue.
Yes you still need to wash with soap and water.
It's definitely easiest to just get enough bottles to last you til you run the dishwasher again.
