I really like it. But then again I have to keep my boom attached to my second desk rather than my primary desk.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on thread size compatibility for microphones
Just got both but i can't srew them together because the the thread's diameter don't match.
Mic threads come in 2 standard sizes: 5/8" (most common in the US) or 3/8" (most common in Europe).
Don't think that there is an adapter but I'll take a look when I am back.
You should see a small slit in it that you can fit a coin or a flat head screwdriver in and it'll screw out.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion on mounting options for mic arms
Only thing I can thing of is to buy a tiny shelf to mount on the wall and then attach the mic arm. Not the most elegant solution.

Discussion on microphone stand preferences.
I'll only be setting it up on a desk for podcasting with, so don't require a boom arm or anything too fancy.
I personally really like bass drum mic stands but they are more expensive.
Depending on how you angle the boom, the mic itself is a little too heavy for the stand to support.
How is the NT1 ? I feel tempted to add it to my collection for dialogue / speech recordings?
Discussion on preferences for boom arms
So I'm not sure on what boom mic to get and people seem pretty polarized on either just getting a cheap boom arm or going straight for a elgato wave arm or rode psa1.
I would have preferred having one that lets the mic sit near my face versus having something that low.
Discussion on microphone visibility preferences
**I don't think the microphone (let alone its stand) should be visible at all.**
I prefer to see chin and mouth covered than seeing a dynamic microphone with pop filter placed at 1 meter away from you.
Preference for low profile vs standard mic arms
I've used both and personally for me a low profile arm has been better in every way.
Discussion on microphone stand preferences
Should I get the Innogear Mic Arm or the Hauea Mic Arm ? (Both 20$) So, should I get this one: [h
Make sure your mic is at a weight it will support.
It’s super sturdy and adjustable, very happy with it.
Discussion on boom arm recommendations and preferences.
I'm currently in the market for a new boom arm, I was wondering what you guys would recommend?
These are around $49 for the 38” and work amazing.
I have a Samson MBA38 and love it.
I just got 3 of the Elgato Wave boom arms for my studio, and I really like them.
Discussion on boom arm recommendations
Anybody have any recommendations for a boom arm for the razer seiren mini?
Holds position well but is easy to get out of the way when needed.
Any $20-$25 boom arm will do...."Innogear mic arm" on Amazon is selling theirs for $15 right now...
does anyone know a good boom arm or any good information?
Comparison of different microphone stands
Its pretty good quality and while I'm sure it's not the best thing out there, it does the job and I've never really had any problems with it.
it works great
General discussion on budget mic stands
I have to do weird stuff like have the lower part of it lying on the desk and the upper part sticking upward which is not very comfortable.
I mean, it'll feel right years down the line when the RODE arm is still working perfectly.
Comparison of different budget mic arms
I think that instead I'll go for a bit more expensive version since it doesn't have the complaints the $20 one had in the reviews.
for $23 Id say its pretty awesome.
