Among them, Staebies were very popular at one point. However, I find the housing too tight, making it feel a bit sticky even with very little lube.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on stabilizer height and user preferences
I have suggested that the DIY device handle should be the same height as the rock handle
Whatever helps keep the shoulders generally level and square to the broom is typically best.
The only height requirement is that they be at least 4.5" tall.
They're very cheap and easy to make as well, there should be many in all clubs :)
Discussion on stabilizer length preferences
How to decide stabilizer length? Is it just personal preference or is it based on height?
Nothing to do with height. I recommend reading *Controlling Bow Behaviour with Stabilizers* by Steve Ellison.
Personal preference! My advice is to go to a pro shop and play around with some different lengths, see what works best for you.
Height makes a difference. Though only for one case and that is the stabilizer hitting the ground, for reference I'm 5'3 and a 38 inch long rod would hit the ground if I were to lower my bow arm by a tiny bit after the follow through.

Discussion on lube options for stabilizers
What lube to use on stabilizer wires? I see people say that krytox 205g0 would be expensive to use, and that dielectric grease is better.
People also use XHT-BDZ on stabilizer wires although it is on the expensive side.
I use XHT-BDZ for the stabilizer wires and GPL 105 to bag lube springs.

Frustrations with stabilizer installation and tuning
Among them, Staebies were very popular at one point. However, I find the housing too tight, making it feel a bit sticky even with very little lube.
Thanks for this! I stopped buying so much keyboard stuff when TX and Staebies were the new hotness and have been wondering what the newer stabilisers were like.
Knight stabs are super easy to tune. They need very little lube.
