Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on stabilizer length and personal preference
How to decide stabilizer length? Is it just personal preference or is it based on height?
Nothing to do with height. I recommend reading *Controlling Bow Behaviour with Stabilizers* by Steve Ellison.
Personal preference! My advice is to go to a pro shop and play around with some different lengths, see what works best for you.
Height makes a difference. Though only for one case and that is the stabilizer hitting the ground, for reference i'm 5'3 and a 38 inch long rod would hit the ground if I were to lower my bow arm by a tiny bit after the follow through.

Discussion about DIY stabilizers and their effectiveness
So should a stabilizer handle match the rock handle height, or should it differ? If differ, should it be shorter or taller and why?
The goal is that on each end of the sheet, there are at least 2 stabilizers and at least 2 step on sliders, so you are never waiting for the person currently throwing to return those items to you for your throw.
The only height requirement is that they be at least 4.5" tall.
They're very cheap and easy to make as well, there should be many in all clubs :)
Discussion about lubricants for stabilizer wires
But if price wasn't in mind, which one is the best to use? i don't mind paying more if krytox sounds better than dielectric grease.
I bought some bag lubed switches that had super lube used on them and I honestly can't complain because the sound and feel was fairly close to that of a hand lubed switch.
205g0 is the best bang for your buck, as it can be used on switches and stab housing as well.

Courtesy is to take photos of drive side with the chainrings showing
But what a bike to get after 28 years of not riding!! Beast!!!
Not ready for tubeless but the Conti’s with TPU tubes are on my radar for upgrades sooner than later
Request for alternative stabilizers
Did someone know a stabilizer that is compatible?
Ok, I already realize that... but what I need is a generic alternative stabilizer
Discussion about compatible stabilizers
It honestly just looks like a MX style snap-in stabilizer.

Cautionary Callouts

Humorous personal anecdote included

I should be able to trust that whatever "brand" of the meds my doctor prescribed is going to actually be the same meds!
(Gk61x) switches - Gateron milkey yellows with black bottom housing - (lubed with krytox 205g0) stabilizers - generic stabs that came with the board (clipped, lubed, holee modded) keycaps: BAOD PBT Keycaps Set.
Users reflect on past stabilizer experiences
I still haven't heard of anything that's markedly better then the TX stabs so I'll probably stick to those.
Knight stabs are super easy to tune. They need very little lube.
Discussion about different bow setups and preferences
I love seeing the different bow colors and setups out there! They really can be our pride and joy.
What are you running? Been wanting to get into this recurve target stuff.
It’s a good setup for what I need.
25" Border Bows Tempest Riser, medium limbs, and a variety of accessories make for a solid setup.
Discussion about mood stabilizers and their effectiveness
What the dick.
My psychiatrist said that if the mood stabilizer doesn't work by itself, its other function is to prevent mania when an antidepressant is added.
Medication anxiety is common among users.
I am so afraid of mood stabilizers; like they are going to destroy my brain and body.
Eventually you'll learn not to worry.
Discussion about the importance of medication in managing bipolar disorder.
My quality of life improved so much after finding the right mood stabilizer.
Experiences with different mood stabilizers and their side effects.
I've found the mood stabilizer to be the gentlest, most side-effect free medication I'm on.
