Snoop's Take

The TRQ Front Driver & Passenger Side Upper & Lower Ball Joint Set is designed as a direct fit, OE replacement suspension component for the 2003 Toyota Sequoia and Tundra, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility. Many users have reported that the parts fit well and withstand significant wear, with one stating, "the lower ball joints actually withstand a lot of beating". However, there are concerns regarding their long-term durability, with some users advising to "spend on OEM parts, and you spend less in the long run," indicating a sentiment that while the parts are affordable, they may not last as long as OEM alternatives. Overall, while the TRQ ball joint set may serve as a budget-friendly option for some, potential buyers should weigh the benefits of cost against the risks of quality and longevity based on user feedback. It may be best for those who need a temporary solution rather than a long-term investment in their vehicle's suspension system.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
High wear on suspension components
Who makes extra-strength suspension parts that will stand up to big tires?
Is it safe to assume this is an equivalent, and I could possibly still get the same MOOG part that AAP sells?
I’m very skeptical. Because again you pay for what you get.
Considering that one toyota UCA is the price of this entire kit, I’m going to say these are probably garbage.
Parts quality has declined
TRQ used to sell some good parts, recently it’s been garbage just like moog.
Recommendation to spend on OEM parts for better longevity
Spend on OEM parts, and you spend less in the long run.
Recommendation to buy OEM lower ball joints
def go oem on lower ball joints.
aftermarket LBJs have a lot of horror stories, probably the last place you want to try to save money.
Parts are of low quality and durability
Probably won’t get the same life out of them, but you get what you pay for.
These parts are junk.
Absolutely...buy cheap get cheap.
Concerns about catastrophic failure of ball joints
once a boot rips open, the ball joints quickly deteriorate.
Had a friend lose one at about 65 on the highway and ultimately the frame of the car ended up meeting the highway at about 65 mph.
Ball joints can quickly deteriorate if the boot is torn
Real shit, should a ball joint be replaced If the boot is torn?
Dangers of driving with a failing ball joint
you are just in for a ride, no matter how good a driver you are now at the mercy of physics because nothing you do is going to help.
