Walker's Razor Slim Electronic Earmuffs are designed to protect your hearing while allowing you to stay alert to your surroundings. These earmuffs feature an ultra low-profile design with slim ear cups and sound amplification capabilities through hi-gain microphones, making them ideal for shooting or other loud environments. Consumer feedback highlights the affordability and functionality of these earmuffs, with many users appreciating their ability to hear range officers and fellow shooters clearly. A user noted, "They’re perfect for my use, and I’ve never had that issue with em," showcasing their effectiveness for personal use. However, some users reported initial discomfort with the stock ear cups, stating that their "ears were killing me," indicating a need for potential adjustments in comfort. Overall, Walker's Razor Slim Electronic Earmuffs are recommended as a solid entry-level choice for electronic hearing protection, particularly for those looking for an affordable and functional option in this category, despite some initial comfort issues.

Good for hearing other shooters and range officers
I currently run regular old earmuffs, don't remember the brand but they've worked great indoors and out, shooting 7.62x39, 5.56, .357 Magnum, etc.
Effective for personal use
They’re perfect for my use, and I’ve never had that issue with em
Good fit for narrow heads
walkers fit well.
Solid entry-level electronic hearing protection
They're solid as entry-level electronic hearing pro (which is why I bought 2 other pair for when I'm bringing friends shooting with me)

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about needing gel cups for comfort
Whatever you get, make sure you can get gel cups to go with them. Makes a massive difference.
Discussion about upgrading to other brands
I like mine and used them for several years.
Discussion mentioning the Razor Slim model
this is the Razor Slim model.
Inquiry about effectiveness in hearing protection
I'm looking for an upgrade from Walkers Razor, any suggestions? What would be superior ear pro?
Are the razors not good in the hearing protection aspect? Asking cause mine just just got delivered and testing them tomorrow
Inquiries about improvements to seal with glasses
Thanks! I imagine it creates a better seal too
Discussion about gel pads for comfort
a lot of people get the new gel pads too, but you hope with the more expensive pelcore that they already come premo pads that’s just part of going cheap I guess right
Inquiry about alternatives for better sound location
Thoughts on the Walker Razor Slim e-muffs Hello all, I have a quick question.
Differences in headband styles between online and in-store versions
The online ones seem to have different headband as the in-store is Tacti-Grip.

General inquiry about differences between Walker's models
Any insight about Walkers Cloak vs Walkers Razor electronic earmuffs?
Comparison with higher-end models
they're always rocking Walkers? The ones that come to mind are Hop, James Reeves, some of the guys on GarandThumb etc.
Yes some of us would rather spend 50 on walkers, 450 on other gear/ammo vs 500 on Comtaca
General preference for affordable gear
Many of them have expensive earpro they just also wear their walkers because who gives a shit.
Discussion on replacement pads for comfort
Buy some Noisefighters replacement pads for your Walkers
get the gel pads, I have thin glasses that work well with my sordins, same gel pad pretty much.
Inquiry about safety glasses fitting with earmuffs
How good are noisefighters really?
Not sure. I haven't made the plunge for them yet.
Preference for thin-stemmed glasses
I really like 3M securefit for cheap safety glasses because the stems are really thin and don’t compromise the seal around my earpro as well as just being a lot more comfortable under the earpro due to how thin the stems are.
Discussion on upgrading to gel pads for comfort
the upgrade gel pads are a must
It’s an unbelievable difference. They don’t even feel like the same muffs after the upgrade.
Discussion on alternatives for active hearing protection
Would u recommend running sordins during a home envision ?
100% for active hearing protection if you have the time, Sordins or otherwise.
Discussion on compatibility with other brands' ear cups
Can I do this for Howard Leights?
Discussion about effective protection needs for new shooters
I have some electronic walker’s that I use but my ears usually will ring for an hour after each session.
Comparison to higher-end models
seems like pelcore and walker are solid starters before anything
If you need it now, get some Howard Leights and then limp along on them until you can budget for some Comtacs/Sordins and then buy once, cry once.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion about needing directional hearing
I am looking to get a some electronic ear muffs for shooting and I think the Walker’s Razor Pro Digital Ear Muffs are a good option.
If you want accurate directional hearing you gotta save up for the sordins.
I can afford the Sordins but that battery compartment is terrible.
A lot of people have Howard leights I have a pair but haven't used them yet.
Comment on the necessity of doubling up ear protection
No on ear muffs are as effective as over ear muffs, and no ear muffs of any design are as effective as doubling up ear pro.
User experience with battery-related issues
the static is louder now that fresh batteries are in.
It might just be easier to grab a new pair.
Discussion on battery-related issues
Auto off is a legit feature. I have gone to the range only to find mine with dead batteries more than once.
