Snoop's Take

The ZenMonkey Infinity Slackline Kit is a 100-foot longline designed to enhance balance and coordination for users of all skill levels. It comes equipped with an Ergo ratchet, tree protectors, and a carry bag, making it easy to set up for family fun or serious training. Consumer feedback highlights the kit's durable construction and excellent value for the price, with one user stating, "Great bang for the buck. I haven't had any issues with it." Additionally, many users appreciate its easy setup, especially for beginners, and the wider line that aids in learning. However, some users noted that it may lack adequate tension for tricklining, indicating it might not meet the needs of advanced slackliners who require higher tension levels. Overall, the ZenMonkey Infinity Slackline Kit comes highly recommended for those starting their slacklining journey or looking for a fun family activity. However, advanced trickliners may want to consider alternatives for enhanced performance.

I think I spent 50-60USD on it and I would definitely buy from them again if I needed another cheap beginner friendly line.

Positive Feedback

The zen monkey line won't get you very far tricklining. That ratchet doesn't really have the ability to get the tensions you want at the length you want your line for tricklines.

Durable and high-quality construction

Survey time! Barefoot or shoes when you slack? Why? Title says it all do you wear shoes on the line or go without and why do you prefer the one you do
I like barefoot because I can feel the line better.
I'm with you guys barefooted is my go to. I'm still super new so shoes feel weird and way harder, I can see why trick liners wear shoes though.
Good tensile strength for basic use
Finally, someone on the minimalist side did a proper review of these! I've been eyeing them myself and they seem pretty good looking.
Great value for the price
Great bang for the buck. I haven't had any issues with it.
Buying my first slackline on Amazon, need help! I want to get a 2 inch slackline that I can make pre
Easy to set up for beginners
Super easy to set up, and the wider line makes it easier to learn.
You also loaded the ratchet incorrectly I believe— I think the webbing is supposed to be *over* the metal bar that is currently above the slackline.

Inadequate tension for tricklining
The zen monkey line won't get you very far tricklining. That ratchet doesn't really have the ability to get the tensions you want at the length you want your line for tricklines.
Like u/nodajohn said, its difficult to get trickline tension with a single ratchet (let alone the tiny ratchet provided in this kit). You will be lucky if you can get it tight enough to butt bounce and chest bounce.
Go straight to 1inch.
Not as elastic compared to other brands
It's a 2 inch ratchet setup that you can get really tight if you're just starting out.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Beginner experiences and preferences
I tried my first slacklining, and loved it -- felt like a Jedi when I got the knack of holding my balance.
A soft release is really only useful in a ratchet system if you’re reaching high tensions.
I think i'll be happy just with balancing, going over small creeks, maybe static yoga poses, etc.
Discussion on the need for tree protection
Tree protection : mandatory. But you could use old towels/fabric/old pants legs/cardboard etc.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Helper lines can be useful for learning
having a helper line was hella useful when I was learning.
Discussion about specific setups for attaching slacklines to larger trees
Am I just supposed to slide the reinforced loop of the travel line onto the shackle and that’s it? Is that fine safety-wise for a 15m park line?
Using slacklines for alternative setups like tree swings
Our trees don’t have branches that would work for the swing.
It is designed to function like a tensioned slackline with points to attach delta quicklinks along the length of the line, and also doubles as a set of dynamic monkey bars.
Its a great idea!
Can I use two fence posts in my backyard to connect a slack line?

Concerns about cheaper slackline kits
Seems like my best option for two slacklines (one to balance on, one to hang climbing things on) as well as the climbing accessories themselves.
That ninja line is a gimmick and probably won’t actually teach your kid balance.
My Review of the Minimalist Flux Footwear Adapt Trainer Just recently purchased a pair of Flux Footw
Comparison to other brands like Gibbon and Spider
It’s very very similar to my gibbon Surfline, I think you’re fine.
Limited/Prime deal price: **$39.90** 🎉
Lack of availability for slackline kits in certain regions
there is basically nothing decent available (in stock) in Australia, I had to settle for a "clip 'n slack 15m ratchet kit" from a climbing place in New South Wales.
Concerns about affordability related to quality of gear
Affordability is very much related to the quality of gear and kind of slacklining you want to do.
Challenges in finding slackline options in Turkey
I just want to do some tricks please help me.
Mention of better trickline brands available in Europe
Good Trickline brands in Europe are Slack Mountain and Spider slacklines.
Discussion about various slackline brands
Looking for good slackline brands Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a beginner 50 ft slackline, but it seems like Gibbon classic lines are out of stock everywhere.
If you're looking for legit slackline brands run by slackliners who are active in the community:
I started with a classic Gibbon line, but recently moved on to a 25 m primitive kit from balance community and I'm loving it.
Slack line industries
Suggestions for alternative slackline kits
I would get the aggro line by slackline industries. It's got a large ratchet that can be upgraded and it's 100 foot long.
Advice on ratchet usage for different lengths
Regardless of what you get you want to keep the trees safe and healthy.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Difficulty in initial balance on slacklines
Great balance though, I can barely stand on a slackline.
That's pretty much what happens the first few times. That or the inside of your thighs turn into a Van Gogh painting because of all the times the line whips back and forth.

This is a Fakespot Reviews Analysis bot. Fakespot detects fake reviews, fake products and unreliable sellers using AI.
General awareness of slackline brands and their marketing strategies
From what I've learned they seem sturdy, well manufactured and well priced.
Once you'll start with longline, pulley-systems, descenders, chainratchet etc. only then will be worth spending time to study for the best system that fit your needs.
If you want to stay with the 5cm webbing, any ratchet system is fine.
The best European brand for me is Spider Slacklines, it's Italian made.
