The question is, will I see any improvement in my baking if I purchased a countertop commercial convection oven, like this one?

I've recently bought a small electric pizza oven that works wonders and cooks great neapolitan pizzas in 90 seconds.
Effective for high-temperature cooking
So does it really matter? Is temperature more dependant on the recipe?
I see other recipies running 425 for thin.. 450 for medium. Quite a difference between 450 and 700.
There's such a thing as too hot, but in my experience nobody will reach that in your typical home oven.

So I decided to make my own. Framed out of pressure treated lumber, wrapped with T111 siding, and the inside has cedar fence pickets for the bottom (to hopefully discourage bugs from making it their home).
This looks awesome! Any chance you have any plans/list of parts to put it together? I'm going to be doing something similar here in the near future.
Overall, it's a pretty simple build. Just make sure you make the wooden base strong enough to support the weight of the top and wide enough so it won't tip over.
Looks awesome, I could never cobble together anything like that. Bonus points for the bottle opener!

I use silicone trivets but you might need to let that stone cool just a bit before removing it from the oven and putting it on the counter.
If it gets to 400F you don't wan't to put it on wood (much less cork). Repeatedly heating wood will break down the cells and create a fire hazard.
Can you out the electric oven on top of your stove instead of on the counter? If not, I would look for a trivet that lifts the oven off the counter and lets air flow below it.
Place the oven on a large pot with the lid of the pot removed.

It’s the function of releasing steam from inside the oven. If you find it’s steaming too much - it could be due to residue inside the oven.
