Snoop's Take

ella+mila Soy Nail Polish Remover is a non-toxic, acetone-free solution designed to effectively remove natural nail polishes while promoting healthier nails. Enriched with lavender essential oil and vitamins A, C, and E, this nail polish remover not only cleans but also hydrates and nourishes your nails and cuticles. Consumer sentiment regarding ella+mila's remover highlights its gentle and non-toxic formula, with users expressing satisfaction about how it leaves their nails and cuticles feeling healthier. One user noted, "The Ella+Mila remover is by far the gentlest one I’ve ever tried and it is effective but it can take awhile." However, some feedback points to issues such as poor bottle design leading to leakage and complaints about it leaving hands feeling greasy after use. Despite the mixed feedback, the product is generally recommended for those seeking a safer alternative to traditional nail polish removers, especially for those sensitive to harsh chemicals. While it may take longer to work than conventional removers, the benefits to nail health and hydration make it a worthwhile choice for many users.

If you don't keep it upright, it will leak sooner or later.
Ineffective at removing polish and leaves hands greasy
I have a bottle of the Ella + Mila soy remover and hate it because it doesn’t take my polish off and makes my hands feel super greasy.

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on nail hydration and care
My mum has noticed her nail’s weakening after using holo taco.
No matter what, Holo Taco shouldn't be making her nails weaker at all!!
Has she always used the rub and only now noticed that the nails are weaker?

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Interest in learning nail art
I have this really nagging thought that I would actually enjoy learning how to do nail art!

Discussion on alternatives to acetone
Back in the day it was harsh acetone. It’ll do the job, but want to think about the health of my nails.
Acetone is still the best.
Get acetone additive!!! Game changer
I kinda hate how much I love the Zoya nail polish remover because it’s so expensive compared to plain acetone but dang it works and it doesn’t dry my hands out.
Discussion on nail removal techniques
thank you everyone for the incredibly helpful responses!!
I use 100% acetone because it gets the job done the fastest!
The pump bottle is also cool.
Cheaper than buying acetone additives and just as effective.
Curiosity about acetone alternatives and stain prevention
Going to have to remember this when I'm running low on acetone.
Your theory about the acetone remover causing the staining makes a lot of sense with my personal experience as someone who doesn’t use it/need it.
Imo I’ve seen good results by using a base coat and a white coat before putting any other color on!
Discussion about using cleaner brands for children's nail polish
I’m not thrilled but I'm also not interested in making it seem more alluring by forbidding it.
I like the Sally Hansen plant based the best so far. It has a better brush and it definitely lasts longer than the piggy paint.
I haven’t bothered with remover. Their nails are so small and toddler activities beat it up so fast that it just chips off.
Discussion about nail polish remover options for kids
He chips the paint off his walls during 'nap time' so can't be worse than that.
Discussion about the validity of 'x-free' labels
I liked them because they smelled less strong than my other polishes.
Every polish BETTER be acetone free.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Suggestions for better container solutions
a simple solution is to put a small magnetic strip lining the inside of the bottle and the lid to act as a stopper.
A simple solution is to put it in a bottle with a properly working lid 😉
It is properly working, but someone put too much wd-40 on it.
Better solution is to pour it into a better container.
Discussion on user experiences with nail polish removal
Nail Polish and Dissappointment, please!
Their nails are wet, can’t open their wallets.
Concerns about specific nail polish remover effects
I would almost definitely say it’s the whitening nail polish remover.
Sounds like she's using a lot of products and chemicals that dry nails out and will cause them to be brittle and weak.
Diverse experiences with nail polish and health
it’s also important to remember that everyone’s body chemistry is different and how their nails/skin react to polish won’t be the same!
I’ve used Holo Taco almost exclusively for two years with my nails constantly painted and have never gotten any weakening that wasn’t obviously caused by something else.
Concerns about the effectiveness of Piggy Paint
It's so thin and takes forever to dry and I have to do like 11 coats...on a kid that can't sit still to let them dry.
Concerns about greenwashing in the industry
Might as well call themselves common sense-free at this point.
I prefer to stick mostly to 5-free since those 5 chemicals seem to be the worst from what I've read.
If a company green-washes I’m way less likely to buy from them tbh.
