Snoop's Take

The KoolMore 23 in. Commercial Countertop Convection Oven is designed to enhance the efficiency of professional kitchens by providing a versatile cooking solution for small restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries. This powerful convection oven features four racks that accommodate half-size baking pans, allowing for simultaneous preparation of multiple dishes, and boasts a robust 1600W heating capacity for even cooking. Consumer feedback highlights its strengths in preparing small portions and quick meals, with one user noting, "Easier to cook small quantities." However, there are concerns regarding its reliance on Wi-Fi for operation, with comments like, "My new oven requires a wi-fi connection to use the convection roast setting" reflecting a significant downside. Many users also expressed frustration with the overly complex smart features, suggesting that these could detract from the overall utility of the oven. Overall, while the KoolMore convection oven offers excellent cooking versatility and efficiency, its dependence on internet connectivity and complex features may limit its appeal to some users. It is recommended for commercial kitchen settings, particularly where quick meal preparation is essential, but potential buyers should weigh the smart technology's drawbacks against its benefits.

There are a lot of times I don’t use the oven for those reasons when I want a quick meal.
The first convection dutch oven
Efficient heating and power usage
the air fryer is faster and uses way less power and I still get all that roasted garlic amazingness and my kitchen gets to smell amazing as well.
Versatile for professional kitchen use
Most of the appliance stores review sections have decent reviews for these, though I am aware they can be faked.

Most insane thing I’ve ever seen, couldn’t make dinner because AWS was down lmao
This sort of crap needs to stop
Overly complex 'smart' features
This oven is so "smart" it's actually dumb.
I would never buy smart appliances that don't need to be smart.
Maybe you need to connect it to the wifi.
Dependence on internet connectivity
So if the servers don't exist in 10 years the oven is a brick?
My Cafe by GE oven requires wifi to use the air fryer mode. This shit is out of control.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about the necessity of smart appliances
That’s actually pretty smart. If you want to go shopping or whatever for a couple hours, but don’t want to have wet clothes siting in the machine before putting it to dry, you can start the washer right before you head home and not waste time waiting for the washer
We didn't buy ours for smart features. We bought it (like unfortunately everything except the dishwasher) because my wife liked the way it looks and because it's a double oven. I personally would have picked a cheaper one.
Air fryers vs convection ovens discussion
Thanks all for helping me overcome my skepticism! I heard a lot of people parrot "air fryers are just small convections ovens and good marketing" but it sounds like they have their own unique purpose, can be really convenient, fast, and potentially make food even crispier.
Totally different appliance. Toaster oven heats with a broiling unit providing heat on top and bottom.. Air fryer or convection oven uses circulated air to heat entire item.
The air flow in the air fryer is much stronger than in a convection oven. It does cook faster and crispier than an oven. I tested a few recipes side by side.
Adding to your list of benefits: Portability. If I don't want to smell up the kitchen roasting brussel sprouts I carry the air fryer out to the screened porch.
Preference for air fryers in some scenarios
I wasn’t sold on it till I got it as a gift. Its great but I wouldnt be sad if I never got one.
In the summer I almost exclusively use the air fryer for this reason
Full glass door on commercial ovens is uncommon.
Can't say I've ever seen a full glass door on a commercial oven before.
General discussion about convection ovens.

Exactly the same first thought when I saw this.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about using metal racks in microwave ovens
It seems common sense, though, I read somewhere that microwave ovens causes sparks when you leave metallic objects in there mostly due to the jagged edges of the metallic item (fork, aluminium foil).
If the rack came with the oven, then most likely it is designed to be used with the microwave function too.
Strangely enough, the manual for my GE Profile combination microwave / convection oven warns against using the metal rack while in microwave mode.
Honestly, it should be fine. My microwave has a metal rack in there, and it doesn't cause me any trouble.

Discussion about the size of convection ovens for small kitchens.
seems too big. But the Panasonic FlashXpress Toaster Oven, recommended as the smaller choice seems both too small and lacks the convection feature.
I also read a bunch of reviews and noticed that different cuisinart models often were in the top 3.
Honestly if it's a lifetime product and you have the power available to get it going) the wolf countertop oven is incredible.
It has 8 elements, so the heat is very even.
Comment on the standard sizes of commercial equipment.
Seeing how the cook is doing is pretty cool though! Might come handy for baking
Discussion on the cost and ease of replacing oven doors.
They seem pretty easy to replace, though.
Yeah it got replaced pretty quickly, considering how long most things take to fix or replace here.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about data privacy with smart appliances
My first question is, "Why do you need access to all my data to cook something?"
Honey, did you apply the security patches to the oven yet this month? Theres a java vulnerability.
Frustration with appliance firmware updates
Yip. Most likely the oven wifi security will be unsupported in 5 years.
Concerns about glass door issues in ovens.
the inside part, luckily, so no injuries, but apparently it’s a known issue with rationales.
Discussion about oven temperature accuracy
How do I get it to be accurate? Is there a trick to get it where I want using the thermometer and some creative temp settings or do I need to get it repaired?
Once we knew the trick, we adapted to the oven and life was cozy.
You could put a pizza stone in the bottom of your oven and just leave it there all the time. It's basically a heat capacitor and can help smooth out the ups and downs.
Just maybe write notes down to help you understand what's going on.
Concerns about the credibility of Amazon reviews
I read most of the reviews but so many seem fake and paid for, I have a hard time trusting Amazon reviews.
