Mention of alternative cleaning methods
Someone else mentioned a pressure washer with a rotary floor attachment, and those are great too.
It's pretty much pointless to even scrub at all because you get dried on brown spots everywhere after scrubbing.
Going to need a lot of concentrated soapy water. Either in a bucket or inside the machine.
What cleaning products do you guys mop the floors with? I've been using dish washing liquid is there something better I could be using?

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Prolux is a white label brand produced by Tacony
Prolux itself is based out of Utah, but they do not make their machines.
Some Prolux vacuums are Made in the USA
I wouldn't buy any of their current vacuums but you could do worse, many of their bagged upright and canister vacuums are $200-500 and should last longer than Sharks.

Discussion about a stuck buffer pad
Buffer pad stuck [deleted]
What is that metallic grease-like blob at the top of the receiver? I've never seen that before, almost looks like someone JB welded the buffer pad in there or something.
Yeah that's not in my A3, it's just supposed to be smooth so the buffer and bolt can slide right out the back. Did you buy this used? Someone must have added that.
Oh, I think I figured it out. Normally the end plate or brace hooks up right there. I’m guessing your cracked / broke during removal. If you push the buffer forward, you should be able to knock it loose.
