Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
RCA cable wiring connections for speakers and subwoofers
Depends on what you're connecting to it.
RL and RR are definitely for rears.
You only need use 1 of the sub outputs, BTW.
FL is front left, FR is front right, RL is rear left, RR is rear right.
Camera input support and configuration on head units
And cam in is for a rearview I believe
That or if you want to put one in the front for watching curbs in a low car
I’m honestly surprised I haven’t seen more head units that support more cameras.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
FM transmitter quality and alternatives
IMO these would be preferable if your audio source (e.g. phone) has an aux-out/line-out or headphone jack.
That seems really interesting I'll look into it.
They're all pretty much the same. It's still fm quality.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Criticisms of Blaupunkt car audio products
Blaupunkt hasn’t been relevant in car audio for awhile, and even their higher tier stuff right now isn’t really competing with lower end selections from companies like Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, Sony etc.
It’s just a name/logo that was sold long ago and now slapped on Chinese build house junk.
They're terrible. Do not use modern day 'Blaupunkt'.
I mean, I got it for free, had low expectations but it’s significantly better than not having a sub that’s for sure.
