Snoop's Take

The AIKENDO Slim Running Belt Fanny Pack is designed for active individuals who require a convenient and comfortable way to carry essentials while jogging, hiking, or cycling. With its soft, breathable material and adjustable size, this waist pack accommodates various body types and ensures stability during movement. Consumers have praised the running belt for its comfort and capacity, making it ideal for long runs. One user noted, "I find this belt the most comfortable and stable... haven’t had any issues with chaffing," highlighting its comfort. However, some feedback indicates concerns about durability, with comments suggesting that it may not hold up as well as competitors over time. Overall, while the AIKENDO Slim Running Belt Fanny Pack offers excellent comfort and functionality for casual users, it may fall short for those seeking long-term durability. It is recommended for those who prioritize comfort and convenience in their running gear.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Soft and breathable material
Basically you should wear them in whatever way keeps them from falling off in the middle of class.
Adjustable size fits various waist sizes
The important bits are that it stays on and that you make sure it is neither too low or too high on you, as the back piece helps guide your posture as well.
Large capacity for carrying essentials
This is an iaido source, and may not be strictly relevant to kendo needs, but specifically deals with the challenges of obi/hakama for women:
Comfortable for long runs
I find this belt the most comfortable and stable (as long as you get the correct size) and even if I wear it under my shirt (directly on skin) haven’t had any issues with chaffing.
Plenty of room for carrying items
I am easily able to reach behind my back and fish around to find what I need by feel vs always having to slide it back around to the front.

Where it needs some work!

Not as durable as competitors

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Debate on carrying capacity and organization
I love it but I have an issue retrieving my gels sometimes.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion on fashion and wearing styles of fanny packs
Why *not* wear a fanny pack around your waist? Fashionistas have apparently decided that a fanny pack must be worn crossbody and not as originally designed.
It’s only a fanny pack if it comes from the fanny region of France. Everything else is sparkling cross-body
Because my 70 year old boomer dad wears it on his waist. That’s not fire.
No?? You should wear it the way you want and it feels most comfortable. Who cares what people say?
Discussion about fitting a DSLR or action camera
Can the x100v fit vertically? Thinking of getting this to house my x100v+DJI Pocket 3 as a waist pack option.
Thanks for posting this. These seem really nice for the sale price.

Discussion on packing essentials and gear layering
there is the idea of “three lines of gear” which is essentially the idea of layering, with the proximity of carry to the body depending on role of the equipment.
I never found comfort with that and a hip belt, so I just keep everything in my pack now.
I figured that would just present the same issue with the sternum strap.
I have snacks in my belt pockets, along with phone etc.
Discussion on alternatives like Flipbelt
Flipbelt is where it's at. I have one, it's wonderful, holds all my gels and salt packs for races.
I was literally going to comment this and you already had it. Such an amazing product.
Vote for Flipbelt here, honestly one of the best things I’ve ever bought for running, worth every penny.
Preference for alternatives like Flipbelt
Armband or Fanny pack? Do you prefer to run with an armband or a Fanny pack? I’ve tried to run with
Flip belt. Run with a Fanny pack and you become the default carrier for everything.
It holds enough for me. Doesn't look like it fits as much stuff as a Flipbelt, but it holds enough for me.
But my favourite approach is looking for shorts with lots of pockets.
Discussion on safety measures at festivals
Please be mindful of pickpockets at all times.
POCKETS ARE NOT FOR PHONES AT FESTIVALS
Tight crowded areas are prime opportunities for pick pockets.
I’ve been to plenty of festivals and never got my phone stolen… But for some reason I’m particularly nervous for Coachella 😭😭
Comparison to other brands and high-end belts
I have their running socks, and they are very good compared to normal socks based on my experience
Discussion on purchasing alternatives
I’ve been eyeing a particular pricy belt way before I started running again I think may reason na ako to buy it 🥰

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion on water bottle stability in fanny packs
Tell me about your running belts and waist packs!
Flipbelt. There’s a 10oz and 5oz water bottle that fits inside.
I wear mine pulled down by my hips with a 10oz bottle for my long runs, and I have no issues with bouncing or anything.
I love my flip belt. I load it up with a 10oz bottle, my phone, and will clip a dog treat pouch to it when I have my pup with me.
