Snoop's Take

The Exalt Paintball Tank Cover is designed to protect steel and aluminum tanks while enhancing grip during gameplay. With a sleek black design and compatibility with 47/48 ci tanks, this cover aims to provide paintball enthusiasts with both functionality and style. Consumer feedback reveals a mixed sentiment about the product's performance. Many users praise the Exalt cover for its grip and fit, with one satisfied customer noting, "Exalt tank covers are great, they give great grip and protect everything important on the tank." However, some users found the grip lacking during movement and criticized misleading marketing, stating, "The marketing for this product is very misleading." Overall, while the Exalt Paintball Tank Cover has its strengths in grip and fit, potential buyers should be aware of the mixed reviews regarding its performance in dynamic situations. It may still be recommended for casual players looking for basic protection, but those seeking high-performance grip might want to explore additional options.

Misleading marketing about grip
The marketing for this product is very misleading.
I was so underwhelmed that i immediately fired off an email to their customer support about my dissatisfaction.
it is overhyped. But since it is the only one that is easy to clean and maintain I continue to use it.
Does not grip well under movement
I just got mine in today and I did the same thing putting them centered over the nipple but it didn’t grip at the bottom.
YES! I just got mine in the mail today.
Full covers tend to shift around
My rear grip doesn't ever move, and is sometimes difficult to remove if I need to clean it.
Tank covers are not a necessity
I love it lol it's free and looks good.
Difficulty in installation of tank covers
I prefer to fight with it for an hour, then get angry and decide I dont need a cover.
Except mine ends with me throwing the cover across the room and then rummaging through my paintball stuff for an old dye rhino.

I like my Exalt butt cover, I'd just recommend a full tank cover if you spend any time in the snake.
Preference for rear grips over full covers
IMHO it prevents the wrap on the tank getting caught on anything.
Nothing really to scratch up the tank and whatnot.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Availability of neoprene tank covers is declining
I still use one but it's 20 years old and falling apart.
Today's Financial Review cover
33 Threads offers neoprene covers but at a high price
hard to believe the going rate is $50.
Difficulty finding the right tank cover due to varying sizes
The covers for the standard 68 have a tendency to be too big so wasn't sure if anyone found and alternative.
I wasn’t big into using tape, but it works well and is easy to clean and replace.
Gotta say I prefer the tape since it's so much easier to rip off and replace+ a quick wipe of the tank and it's done.
Diverse tank sizes complicate finding the right cover
Made finding neoprene covers a chore.
Personal preference influences choice of tank cover
Part of it was being cheap, personal preference, and the ability to wipe tank hits more easily.

Preference for taping over using tank covers
Do whatever you like best. I dont like the bulkyness of covers anymore, taping is ok but with oily stains from previous hits can be messy and slick.
Discussion about the effectiveness of nipple covers in various situations
They don’t have adhesive, so they’re basically use it til you lose it.
They're super seamless and gentle, with a nice tapered edge and a thicker inside that fits my chest shape perfectly.
I love them, wish I had known about them much earlier.
On their website they make it really clear it’s not supposed to give you support it’s just a nipple cover.

Cant beat someone over the head with those.
aim for eyes, shins, balls, and groin... and ribs and solar plexus...
Discussion of impractical tank designs
heavy tanks are so cool if you cover your eyes and pretend like the bad number isn't there
Make them bigger and heavier for the eastern front. Use a battleship canon and make enough room for a crew of 100 soldiers. This is the future.
Everyone thinks its a good idea until they try it. Like the Soviet experiment with putting a destroyer's main gun on a KV tank, which turned out to be so wildly impractical that they gave up after a single prototype.
interwar era had the coolest tank designs with nulti turrets and what not now all we get is juiced medium tanks
