What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Perfect fit for modern 68/4500 tanks
Found a Neoprene tank cover that fits modern 68's! The valken 45ci-68ci covers fit modern 68/4500 basic tanks from empire and ninja perfectly !
I love em just for the total tank coverage. I've been running 80/4500 tanks and a lot of the old school dye rhino covers for the old size 68's for today's 80's. But there's very few that fit today's 68's so figured I'd share here for others !
Most of them yes. And if added to a full tank they are so diluted that they will do very little.
Durable protection from scratches and dents
no more neoprene tank covers? I mean. I get it. I’m old.
I miss Dye Rhino covers.
I still rock my classic NXE cover.
Non-slip grip enhances handling
I prefer the grip on my shoulder of a tank cover.
I prefer rubber covers for max grip.
Available in interesting designs
Silicone ones offer similar protection, allow for more interesting designs and colors while also being cheaper to make.
That and most tanks nowadays have some sort of a design on them that people want to show off
Great grip and protection
Exalt tank covers are great, they give great grip and protect everything important on the tank.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Difficulty cleaning the covers
I had proto/dye covers back in the day and they got caked with dirt and paint and were a pain to clean.
Does not grip properly under movement
Any sort of movement will cause it to pop right off.
I have zero issues going completly braless and if someone is bothered by seeing nipples through clothing, that is truly their problem and not mine, but sometimes i want to be a little more put together.
it is overhyped. But since it is the only one that is easy to clean and maintain I continue to use it.
Edges do not stay down
I was so disappointed when the edges would not stay down, but hiking them up on my breast helped a lot with that.
it’s showing a bit while wearing a sort of low cut shirt.
Did you try these tips? Did you get a smaller size?
Preference for neoprene covers over silicone
U could do all kinds of crap with silicon, but all they put out is these boring boots

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Preference for neoprene covers over current options
The exalt rubber sleeves ended up becoming more popular and durable.
the neoprene covers need to make a comeback. Way easier to clean and they actually protected the tank.
Discussion about the shift from neoprene to silicone
What happened to tsnk covers?! When/Why did all the companies stop selling neoprene tank covers and swap over to these silicom boots?
Preference for tank protection over no covers
I was told at a field you need a tank cover for carbon fibre tanks because they get a ding or something they wont fill them.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion of alternative brands like Exalt
Honestly, I think the tank butt covers by exalt (that includes the ninja edition) are great and more than enough for that you need.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Difficulty finding neoprene tank covers
What happened to neoprene tank covers? A lot of companies used to make them.
Challenges with different tank sizes
Made finding neoprene covers a chore.
Discussion about alternative products
Hear me out: Boomba nipple covers 👀😊
The boomba nipple covers are awesome though.
Preference for full tank covers over partial ones
I like my Exalt butt cover, I'd just recommend a full tank cover if you spend any time in the snake.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Nostalgia for older paintball gear
there’s just a certain nostalgia to them
The dye flex cover? Could possibly for the 2 piece hk cover too.
The ride was so smooth.
While not necessarily a con, the shifting of the car from park to N to D and then R is odd, it's just something an owner would get used to.
Mention of better built covers from other brands
I picked one of the 33’s it’s way better built than the hk.
Cleaning tank covers got old. It’ll be tough to find the right tank cover since so many 68’s are now different sizes.
Nostalgia for older paintball gear and covers
I still use my Dye rhino covers on all my tanks.
Discussion on the use of tank covers among players
I understand the need for grip, but what about tank protection? Is it unnecessary?
Many tournament players run with no tank cover, because the smooth resin surface of the tank is easy to wipe hits from.
