no more neoprene tank covers? I mean. I get it. I’m old.

Positive Feedback

Because you're talking a volume, you can make your 68ci tank long and skinny or short and fat, or anywhere in between, and still have the same 68ci volume as your competitor.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Preference for tank covers for grip
no more neoprene tank covers? I mean. I get it. I’m old.
I prefer the grip on my shoulder of a tank cover.
I prefer rubber covers for max grip.
HK covers protect tanks well and are easier to clean.
Way easier to clean and they actually protected the tank.
Good finish quality
Finish looks good!
Lightweight tank
It’s such a light tank, it goes amazing with my geo 3.5.
Lightweight design is appreciated
Seems pretty nice IMO.
HK Army products are well-regarded by some users
some of their products are on point (some of my teammates swear by their packs, i have a tank bottle from them)
Secure fit of HK Army fill nipple cover
I’m using a HK Army fill nipple cover, and it stays on very securely.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Inconsistency in tank cover sizes
Because you're talking a volume, you can make your 68ci tank long and skinny or short and fat, or anywhere in between, and still have the same 68ci volume as your competitor.
Difficult to clean older tank covers
I had proto/dye covers back in the day and they got caked with dirt and paint and were a pain to clean.
Poor quality control leading to product failures
I think I have a 26ci tank and a barrel that work okay
Trust issues with regulator
May swap it out. But weight is incredibly noticeable vs my ninja sl2.
Quality inconsistency due to outsourcing manufacturing
Quality is a mixed bag primarily for one overarching reason: HK Army is a branding and marketing company, not a manufacturer.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about different tank cover styles.
The dye flex cover? Could possibly for the 2 piece hk cover too.
Discussion about preferences for tank protection
I still use my Dye rhino covers on all my tanks.
Discussion on nostalgia for older tank covers.
Maybe I am not remembering how well covers fit in the 2000s anymore but I feel like there were covers for each size that actually fit, not “small” and “large” where if you have a 68ci tank you basically have a loose bag on the tank.
This may be way old school, back in the co2 tank days, but they made covers that fit, and had a rifle stock style end that could butt up real nice against your shoulder.
Preference for different types of fill nipple covers
What fill nipple cover is best? Looking at buying one but the magnetic ones seem like they would fall off way two easily while playing so what works best?
I like CP, HK, or any of that style. They have ball bearings held in with dual orings.

Discussion about tank sizes and weights
Hk army alpha air Was not prepared for the actual size of this tank in person!
I’ve really been wanting to pick one up.
Discussion about weight differences between tank sizes
Big weight difference? I use an infamous 80 right now.
Personally I consider the weight reduction/size difference to be negligible.
Discussion about the regulator cap compatibility
It’s very confusing with the tank names and how they are all so similar.
That cap will not work. It is designed for the Aerolite Pro.
Would buying a replacement bonnet be sufficient to thread on my marker or is there a different cap?

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Tank cover sizes are inconsistent.
The covers for the standard 68 have a tendency to be too big so wasn't sure if anyone found and alternative.
I wasn’t big into using tape, but it works well and is easy to clean and replace.
Gotta say I prefer the tape since it's so much easier to rip off and replace+ a quick wipe of the tank and it's done.
Discussion about dissatisfaction with HK Army products
I’m so done with this company, I’ve already sold off almost all of my hk stuff to replace it.
Mixed community opinion on HK Army products
I really like there products but I see that everyone hates there products can someone tell me reasons why
