Snoop's Take

The Ginalaia Menstrual Cups are a reusable period product designed for comfort and convenience, made from 100% medical-grade silicone. Users have praised the cups as a cost-effective alternative to traditional menstrual products, with one saying, "I’ve had mine for 2 years now and I’ve already saved hundreds on pads, tampons, etc." Many appreciate the environmentally friendly aspect, stating that they are effective for both light and heavy flows, while also being easy to clean and reinsert. However, there are some concerns about the learning curve and occasional leaking issues, which suggests that new users might need to practice before achieving the best results.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Cost-effective alternative to pads and tampons
I’ve had mine for 2 years now (cost me $30) and I’ve already saved hundreds on pads, tampons, etc.
Overall, totally worth it to not generate menstrual data and drop out of the economy.
Reusable and environmentally friendly
June is a good company that is pretty inexpensive compared to some of the other ones out there.
if you’ve never used a cup, they’re fantastic. They are far less toxic and less expensive in the long-run.
Comfortable to use
My life has changed! My relationship with my period has changed.
They're not without their own problems but I'll have them over more disposable methods any day.
Easy to clean and reinsert
Super easy to wash and reinsert.
Saves money on menstrual products
My cup has been saving me SO MUCH MONEY.
Effective for heavy flow
I bought the cup to have a bit more freedom in regard to time because I do have a heavy flow and I can go on a 9 hour shift easily without dumping it.
Mine leaked on the airplane (which was not normal) funny that I never thought about that reason before.
Good firmness for a secure seal
The vacuum doesn't break on its own at least for me. I tried Peesafe and had to throw it away as it was too soft and couldn't hold a seal to save its life lol.
Comfortable to use after adjustment
I switched to the non suction reusable disc variety recently, and it solved the extra cramping issue you noted.
Small size works better for beginners
I bought the small size and I could use it easily!
You should probably try the small one, it's suggested for beginners.
Learning curve is manageable with practice
the cup definitely has a learning curve so don’t panic if you can’t get it in right the first couple of times/cycles.
Effective for preventing leaks after adjustment
After that never na ako nagkaleak in the past few years - hindi narin ako gumagamit ng panty liner whatsoever during my periods.
Effective for many women
I hear that they can work really well for a lot of women, so I'm glad they're on the market as an option.
Variety of options available
These guys are a totally different shape and shallower.

I will say though, that sometimes it’s hard to reach.
Leaking issues reported
I always leaked with the cup but the disc is fool proof.
The danger is infection could possibly occur.
I've never had any problems with leaking.
Learning curve for new users
I think the disk was just more familiar concept.
Difficult removal process for some users
I was shit scared. And my bathroom was a murder scene after I removed it, because it accidentally fell on the floor!!
Reports of leakage during use
I always experienced leakage.
Learning curve and initial difficulty
Oof, yeah, the first few months I was on the verge of giving up.
For me it was pretty easy from the first time!

Honestly…NOT wiping it is the more sanitary option.

I didn't find any such in the Indian market now.
