Made from 5 layers of rayon fleece, these reusable and washable inserts fit most One Size cloth diapers and can absorb over 8oz of liquid, ensuring your baby stays dry and comfortable. Consumer feedback highlights the inserts' highly absorbent nature, with users noting, "Bulky, but no more leaks!" Many parents appreciate the stay-dry feature that helps reduce diaper rash, with one stating, "I have to have natural fiber directly on babies skin to avoid leaks." However, some users have mentioned concerns about bulkiness and potential irritation for sensitive skin. Overall, satisfaction with the product remains high, as indicated by comments like, "We've been using them for months and have no complaints." What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Highly absorbent inserts
Bulky, but no more leaks!
Far more absorbent than the inserts that come with alvas!
I use these and love them. I put a microfiber insert on top of them.
Apparently they absorb a lot but also have some sort of stay dry outside.
Stay-dry feature helps reduce diaper rash
I have to have natural fiber directly on babies skin to avoid leaks.
Testing bamboo inserts for improved absorbency
Thanks for the tip! I got out my extra stash of inserts yesterday and realized I have a few bamboo ones that came with my babygoal diapers.
Natural materials are preferred for comfort and functionality
Quick answer — 1000% yes natural materials are better
I tired both and ended up donating all my synthetic stuff. It felt like cotton and hemp clean easier/ better and “breaths” better for the skin especially with no cover or a wool cover.
Microfiber is a quick absorber but can leak when compressed and doesn’t last forever. Natural materials don’t have that same problem.
Cloth diapers made from natural materials maintain good absorbency
our 100% organic cotton diapers look like Swiss cheese at this point (totally absorbent and functional, just ugly holes) while our synthetic diapers look brand new, no wearing/holes even after being used for multiple years.
Stay-dry features help prevent odor issues
Basically, yes. Also for the “stay dry” liner effect
Highly absorbent liners
they’re more absorbent and our LO soaks through everything except these bamboo liners.
Stay-dry feature effectively wicks moisture
Just keep in mind that these are basically bamboo wrapped microfiber. That's ok if that's what you're looking for, but very different from the cotton you'd get from GMD.
Satisfaction with Naturally Nature inserts
We've been using them for months and have no complaints.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Stay-dry liners may irritate sensitive skin
Honestly, I've just had to come to terms with having sensitive skinned kids.
Just hate how bulky they are.
Microfiber layers in bamboo inserts
I believe those have microfiber layers inside the bamboo charcoal/fleece.
Amazon has limited and overpriced selection
Amazon isn’t the best place to buy cloth diapers from. It’s often overpriced and has a small selection.
Potential leakage when used without wrapping
I use them with my home made covers. They work well.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Researching natural materials for cloth diaper inserts
I would rather switch to a more natural material.
I personally am getting both to try out and see which ends up working better for us!
Discussion on alternatives to microfiber inserts
Microfiber just sucks. It loses absorbency over time and is prone to compression leaks.
Discussion on natural materials in cloth diapers
Hi! I’m a first time mom. I have tried to eliminate synthetic fibers from our wardrobes (environmental reasons and sensitive skin) and we’re planning on cloth diapering.
If natural fiber is important, why not go for cheaper cotton flats and a couple wool covers?
I love the Thirsties Newborn AIOs for daytime wear and have been eyeing the Pockets once my kiddo sizes into the “one size” diapers, but can’t really justify getting more diapers 😅
I like my thirstiest natural AIOs and pockets. I find that my smart bottom aio generally needs a hemp booster for my heavy wetter.
Discussion on different insert types for cloth diapers
Inserts with gussets? Is this necessary since they're going to be stuffed into a pocket?
Preference for quick-drying materials in diapering
they dry super fast and keep baby dry longer, which is good for sensitive skin and washing

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Many commenters share their personal experiences with various cloth diapering methods.
Their cloth-eez inserts are really trim even using two inserts, the prefolds are definitely more bulky BUT I use them for nap time and when I know we’re going to be out of the house for a long time!
They come super clean and I can dry them in the dryer on high and not worry about them getting ruined.
Discussion on different layering methods for absorbency
They are bulky, but work!
Largely at nap times because of flow levels.
Now at 7mo I use 2 bamboo inserts and when I know I’m going to need more security (long car ride, just ate) I use bamboo with a hemp insert.
DIY cloth diapering experiences shared
both of those styles are working great

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Choosing cloth diaper inserts can be overwhelming for new moms.
Pregnant first time mom here … 😫 tell me what inserts to buy I am excited to try cloth diapers, I’ve decided on pockets … but the options for inserts are SOO overwhelming.
It can be so confusing!!! It took me a bit but now baby is 3 months and we really have the hang of it! Stick it out!!
Different brands and types of inserts have varying levels of complexity in use.
Even if you don’t go with their inserts there’s soooo much information on their website and it’s helped me a ton throughout my 18 month cloth journey!
Everything is so versatile you can't go wrong with them!
Adjusting diaper settings for different ages and needs
They're the snaps that you use to adjust the height of the diaper.
Choosing cloth diaper inserts can be overwhelming for new moms
Will the 17% really make that much of a difference when it comes to odor and would I be giving anything up by going 100% natural?
Different brands and types of inserts have varying levels of complexity in use
This isn't the same as microfiber, and bamboo terry isn't really prone to odor problems as long the diapers are getting clean.
They’re much less bulky than flats or prefolds in a pocket and hold a good amount.
Cotton absorbs great and cleans easily.
Different preferences evolve as babies grow and diapering needs change
I see so many posts about people troubleshooting issues- leaks and smells mostly.
Comparison of bamboo and cotton inserts
Is there an advantage to the cotton from GMD over these microfiber ones? Is it just that they are more natural?
Confusion between liners and inserts in cloth diapering
Oh I just realized you said liners, do you mean liners or the inserts? I've been using microfleece for my liners (the same type that fuzzibunz uses in their diapers that I got from a cloth diaper supply) that it's been working great
sorry meant the inserts but I guess the same applies for liners. Do you have a link for the microfleece though?

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Diaper rash prevention discussions
I wonder if stay dry liners has helped anyone with diaper rash.
It’s not necessarily like DRY but definitely dryer than like just straight up cotton.
Debate on the environmental impact of synthetic materials
Better” is all a matter of perspective and I’m sure a lot of other people will say the same thing.
Discussion on alternatives to fleece/polyester for stay-dry liners
Daytime stay-dry liners that are microplastic-free ... do they exist?
I haven't personally tried them, but The Blythe Life sells stay dry liners in cotton velour and in merino wool interlock.
Some people say the 100% cotton sherpa doublers from GMD have a stay-dry effect.
I haven't tried their liners (but in love w/ their flats) humbird wool has these.
Personal experiences vary with different brands
Baby likes to help stuff 😅
Personal experiences vary with different diapering methods
I'm unfamiliar with those inserts but it looks like those would go inside a pocket diaper.
