Snoop's Take

Tommee Tippee Breast-Like Pacifier is a soothing device designed for newborns to infants, featuring a breast-like nipple that encourages a natural latch and comfort. Engineered with a symmetrical design and BPA-free silicone, it aims to replicate a mother’s natural feel while protecting delicate baby skin. Community chatter reveals a mix of adoration and head-scratching skepticism; one parent raved, “I read this comment and immediately bought this pacifier, and my baby LOVES it after rejecting every other one I’ve tried. Thank you so much 😭” while others noted that acceptance can be as fleeting as a phase. The consensus frequently praises its lightweight design and durability, even if its charm isn’t universal. In conclusion, despite occasional reports of refusal and brief acceptance phases, the pacifier earns a recommendation for parents in the market for a soothing, hygienic, and trusted option in infant care.

We tried a few brands and found the latex dummies are super strong and last a really long time for us.
Lightweight Tommee Tippee Ultra Light pacifiers are effective
The tommy tippee ones were much lighter and she was able to keep them in and have a better sleep.
We like the Tommee tippee ultra light pacifiers.
The Tommy tippe ultra light and the Phillips soothies have been a big hit here.
High acceptance and effective soothing in Tommee Tippee pacifiers
My baby will only take the Tommee Tippee ones but she’ll spit it out if she doesn’t want it anymore, or while she sleeps.
Seconding the Tommee Tippee ultra lightweight pacifier - they also seem to have a nipple that contours differently than others we tried.
YES the tommee tippee ultralight orthodontic horror pacifier.
They have a 92% acceptance rate, says their packaging, and at least used to have a money back guarantee if your baby didn’t take to it (but both of mine have!).

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Pacifiers can aid in improving oral function and latch
My baby struggled early on with a weak latch and this helped to strengthen his muscles to have a stronger latch.
It’s super flexible - it bends with pressure from their mouth so if their latch is poor, the paci folds.
You want a pacifier that will encourage a wide latch.
Bibs pacifiers are preferred for better retention
Ours would take any but bibs was the easy favorite. And our favorite because it doesn't fall out.
4 breastfed babies and only found Bibs with my last. She's the only one who has ever taken a paci and it's so nice.
Second vote for exclusively BIBS! E we use their bottles also
Bibs pacifiers are favored by many parents
The Bibs brand ended up working out for us (though we had tried it from day 1, something just clicked at 4 months).
Pricy but the ONLY pacifier our breastfed guy would take.
Bibs won out for us as well.
Bibs worked for us too!
Some babies prefer natural breastfeeding or human pacifiers over synthetic ones
she will reject it and prefer to use my wife as a human pacifier for soothing which isn't a habit we want to encourage.
Bottles, pacifiers... makes no difference, they've got nothing on me, the OG pacifier.
The only pacifier he will accept is me.
Ninni pacifiers are lightweight and mimic breastfeeding
They seem pretty lightweight and breastlike to me, and are the only pacifier my boobie barnacle of a baby has ever showed even a slight interest in (she ultimately hates all pacifiers and we gave up trying to get her to take them).
I’m wondering if you ever ended up trying the Ninni Co & if it worked for your son?

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Mittens use in sleep routines is controversial among parents
It’s called “mouth mapping”.
maybe my baby was a unicorn but she never scratched herself thank god !
Definitely let the little talons explore haha

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Babies often prefer sucking on their hands for self-soothing
it’s actually developmentally great for them to suck on their hands !
My son has takes a pacifier and still sucks on his hands and fingers.
My 5 month old did that and we just let her do it/stopped trying to use the pacifiers and she eventually switched to sucking on her hands/fingers to soothe herself.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Dental health concerns and comparisons with thumb sucking
Dentist here. My daughter didn’t use a pacifier (her choice, not mine), and her teeth are CRAZY.
Look up a photo of a thumb suck open bite, and you’ll see why some of them are never able to be fixed, even with extensive surgeries and orthodontics.
Same idea as a pacifier - supposedly they suck it and it causes their teeth to be crooked. However, with a thumb-sucker, you can’t just take it away like a pacifier.
Teething impacts pacifier use, causing chewing and prompting use of teething accessories
He was teething and cut 8 teeth by the end of his 4th month.
My first would just chew on everything because he started getting teeth really early but he never really sucked on pacifiers either.
Water accumulation issues occur in MAM pacifiers
Does anyone else have trouble with water getting stuck in the MAM pacifiers?
They look super weird tho when the baby sucks on them, because you can see the hole into the mouth 😅
