Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Effective and durable Tommee Tippee pacifiers
We tried a few brands and found the latex dummies are super strong and last a really long time for us.
I always recommend this one because it was so helpful for us once I discovered it by another person’s recommendation!
I read this comment and immediately bought this pacifier, and my baby LOVES it after rejecting every other one I’ve tried.
The Tomeee tippee orthodentic ones
High acceptance and soothing effect of Tommee Tippee pacifiers
She goes to bed so easy compared to my first baby that didn’t use a pacifier.
They have a 92% acceptance rate, says their packaging, and at least used to have a money back guarantee if your baby didn’t take to it (but both of mine have!).
Ultra lightweight design with contoured nipple reduces dropping
Baby does drop it from time to time, but much less because it is so light!
Baby adores it and we hate having a direct view into their mouth.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Hand sucking is normal and developmentally beneficial
Baby sucking hands, but doesn’t want paci
it’s actually developmentally great for them to suck on their hands !
No tips, daughter found her thumb and hands one day and never looked back.
Some babies prefer hand sucking over pacifiers
But 90% of the time he just sucks his hand
No pacifiers and no bottles were ever acceptable. It was an exhausting time.
Delayed pacifier acceptance in infants
My LO refused a pacifier until 4 months.
We also couldn't make any headway on pacifiers until about 5 months!
Pacifier usage vs thumb/finger sucking as soothing alternatives
You can’t take away their fingers.
Both mine picked their thumb instead so sometimes this doesn't end up being the benefit :'(
Pacifier rejection and reliance on alternative soothing methods
The only pacifier he will accept is me.
My little girl fully gags every time we tried the pacifierp

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Dental concerns from pacifier use
my mom was told not to introduce one with my brother because it can mess with the way their teeth grow in?
I always kind of looked at it as I'd much rather a pacifier sucker then a thumb sucker as I can take the pacifier away, can't exactly do that with a thumb.
with a thumb-sucker, you can’t just take it away like a pacifier.
Look up a photo of a thumb suck open bite, and you’ll see why some of them are never able to be fixed, even with extensive surgeries and orthodontics.
General pacifier durability issues
That’s what my toddler did too
my lil guy would shred one in a day!!!
Pacifiers are often chewed due to teething
But because he chews on it, it drops out of his mouth and he fusses.
My 5 month old did that and we just let her do it/stopped trying to use the pacifiers and she eventually switched to sucking on her hands/fingers to soothe herself.
Just bite and chew on them.
My first would just chew on everything because he started getting teeth really early but he never really sucked on pacifiers either.
Bibs pacifiers are preferred for better retention
Ours would take any but bibs was the easy favorite. And our favorite because it doesn't fall out.
Second vote for exclusively BIBS!
my baby loves the bibs ones. They were a gift and she wouldn’t really like other ones!
