Snoop's Take

Tommee Tippee Ultra-Light Silicone Pacifier is a baby soothing device crafted from BPA-free silicone with a one-piece design. It is engineered to stay in place, helping to calm babies while reducing germ exposure from dropped pacifiers. Community feedback is generally favorable, with many parents highlighting its lightweight design and effective retention. One user noted, "my baby LOVES it after rejecting every other one I’ve tried," underscoring its appeal. However, some reports mention inconsistent acceptance where the pacifier is sometimes rejected. Overall, the discourse reveals a product that largely meets expectations despite occasional performance variability. In conclusion, given its user-endorsed lightweight design and ease of cleaning, the pacifier is recommended within its category for parents seeking a reliable, safe, and travel-friendly option.

The tommy tippee ones were much lighter and she was able to keep them in and have a better sleep.
We like the Tommee tippee ultra light pacifiers.
The Tommy tippe ultra light and the Phillips soothies have been a big hit here.
Seconding the Tommee Tippee ultra lightweight pacifier - they also seem to have a nipple that contours differently than others we tried.

Inconsistent acceptance and retention of the pacifier
We had a few glorious weeks where he took the tommee tippee ones, but apparently that was a phase and now he’s back to refusing them all!
My first one would NEVER part with a pacifier. She was obsessed with ONLY using the “Tommee Tippee ultra light silicone pacifier”.
My baby will only take the Tommee Tippee ones but she’ll spit it out if she doesn’t want it anymore, or while she sleeps.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Pacifiers can improve latch and oral function
My baby struggled early on with a weak latch and this helped to strengthen his muscles to have a stronger latch.
it’s super flexible - it bends with pressure from their mouth so if their latch is poor, the paci folds.
I have seen such an improvement in my babies latch since switching to ninni from the soothies.
You want a pacifier that will encourage a wide latch.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Babies naturally prefer hand sucking for sensory development
it’s actually developmentally great for them to suck on their hands !
i used to be the same until her pediatrician told me to let her and don’t ever use mittens on her.
She will whip it out of her mouth with her hand and suck on her hand but then cry when she realizes it's not her pacifier 😩
Just like discovering his feet eventually, he discovered his hands and they're his first "toy" he can play with interactively.
Babies chew on pacifiers during teething
My 5 month old did that and we just let her do it/stopped trying to use the pacifiers and she eventually switched to sucking on her hands/fingers to soothe herself.
He was teething and cut 8 teeth by the end of his 4th month.
My first would just chew on everything because he started getting teeth really early but he never really sucked on pacifiers either.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
There are concerns about pacifier use affecting dental development
my mom was told not to introduce one with my brother because it can mess with the way their teeth grow in?
My daughter didn’t use a pacifier (her choice, not mine), and her teeth are CRAZY.
>my mom was told not to introduce one with my brother because it can mess with the way their teeth grow in?
Durability issues are common with pacifiers for heavy chewers
I had to give up on the dummy because my lil guy would shred one in a day!!!
We had the same issue as our son is very into chewing.
Babies may resort to thumb/finger sucking instead of using a pacifier
We can have the pacifier fairy come or something to take them away. You can’t take away their fingers.
Both mine picked their thumb instead so sometimes this doesn't end up being the benefit :'(
