Snoop's Take

This dual-brew system allows users to create a variety of coffee styles and sizes, from single servings to full carafes, making it suitable for all coffee lovers. Consumer feedback highlights the product's impressive performance and versatility, with many users noting that "the coffee itself is fast, really hot and great quality." While the majority of reviews express satisfaction, some users have raised concerns regarding cleaning difficulties and inconsistent initial brew temperatures. What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Good upgrade from previous machines
The espresso shots have been really good and consistent.
Impressive performance when functional
Honestly I’m only keeping it because I got it for free because of a shipping error lol. When it works it’s fantastic.
Makes good espresso and coffee drinks
it makes really good Espresso/Coffee drinks.
Satisfaction with overall performance
So far I'm happy with it.
Enjoyable brewing experience with Ninja setup
Your coffee is your coffee, so drink it as you please.
The coffee was significantly improved from my previous blade grinder brewing.
Functional and versatile brewing options
The coffee itself is fast, really hot and great quality.
Super happy so far.
Easy to use with versatile brewing options
It is easy to use and you can do iced coffee, strong coffee, just a cup, a traveler size, half a carafe, etc.
Makes good coffee with easy options for customization
It also just makes good coffee, with easy options for a little more concentrated, or a little less.
Honestly I love mine. If I’m in a hurry or have my family over it gets the job done.
Drip temperature is solid at 205°
The drip is solid at 205°, which is on par with what SCA makers are going to give you.
Versatile brewing options with different modes
What do these modes actually do differently? i know what they claim to do, but how do they actually do anything?
Overall, I love the machine, and it produces consistently good coffee.
Easy to clean process
Very easy to clean. Add about a 1/2 cup white vinegar to the water reservoirs then fill it full with water.
Excellent for iced coffee preparation
Love it, it really shines with iced coffee (dedicated mode for that) but it’s a solid drip cup no matter how you brew.
Versatile brew sizes for different needs
Nah, the great thing about these machines are that you can set your brew size anywhere between 2-10 cups (2 cups being 12 oz) .
Makes better macchiatos than coffee shops
the ones we make with the ninja are way better.
Convenient dual brewing options
Love the coffee it makes. But if you only drink black coffee, it may even be overkill.
Versatile with pods and grounds
Overall happy with the machine, but playing coffee ground roulette is not the morning pick me up I was hoping for.
I like the ninja cause I can do a pot of coffee or a large tumbler but I’ve been thinking of other options cause the grounds are awful when they surprise me.
My Ninja can use pods or grounds so I just going to stick to grounds.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Cleaning difficulties compared to super auto machines
Still works mostly good after 8 years though, so I'm selling it to a friend.
Not good at certain features
it's honestly not a terrible machine. It's just not good at a handful of features.
Poor build quality and reliability
the quality of the machines was poor and they only lasted about a year each.
it looked, felt, and sounded like cheap plastic trash.
Previous Ninja machines had reliability issues
It’s 100% capable of bringing out the berry flavors in natural processed light roast coffees, and you’ll realize quickly that your brew quality is now grinder-limited where before you seriously weren’t extracting all the flavors from your grounds.
Large size may be inconvenient for some users
Everything else seem to work as given.
Negative past experiences with Ninja products can lead to skepticism
I'm skeptical of Ninja products in general because I used to have a Ninja blender and it was absolutely garbage.
Inconsistent initial brew temperature
I've seen reviews where it doesn't brew hot enough at first during a brew, but warms up to adequate temperature as the brew goes on.
Expensive compared to other options
The Ninja coffee bar is a bit expensive for what it is.
K-Cup pods causing grounds contamination
We just purchased the coffee machine so I am super bummed! What a waste ☹️
It really sucks going through batches to find good ones.
Disappointment due to pod performance
That's disappointing to hear. Anything to save a dime though (on the k-cups).

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Experiences with different grind settings
I'm still trying to figure out what to grind my beans at for the Ninja Specialty coffee maker I've had for 3 years.
Importance of coffee grinder for brewing quality
most people here will tell you to spend nearly all of your money on a grinder, because it takes a good machine to get a good consistent grind
First priority should be the product going into the brewer, not the brewer itself.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about coffee preferences and brewing methods
I like that I have the option of using pods or ground Coffee(I dont use pods often but sometimes my mom comes over and she uses them), and the milk frother is just a luxury addition.
I really like the taste of the coffee and I’ve noticed I’m not drinking as much because it’s heavier, but I’m just curious if this is normal.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Multiple coffee machine ownership
I like what I like.
My favorite morning black coffee is two pods of OL Stockholm while sitting in a campground in the early morning in the silence.
my newest machine and latest obsession.
And a standard drip pot under the countertop for those who can’t figure out my “extra” coffee setup.
Ownership of multiple coffee machines
Most of my Ninja stuff has lasted really well actually, so there is hope, but Ninja's other stuff is usually priced a bit higher for what it is, $500 for this is actually an incredibly good deal if it lasts but it of course brings into question the quality.
Discussion on espresso machine alternatives
They both look like they have the same functions (Ninja one might have even more) but coming from someone who might know a little more than I, which one would should I buy?
If your question hasn't been answered there and you need more help, please add the following details to your post or by adding a comment in the following format:
Curiosity about the Ninja Luxe Cafe
Honestly, it looks a little too good to be true.
Discussion on owning multiple coffee machines
Build in scale for weighting coffee, 3 temp settings, 3 ratio settings, spring loaded temper, PID and some mysterious AI-definitely-marketing-yet-cool?
User's background and coffee knowledge
It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and I’ve made both espresso and drip drinks that taste fantastic.
Comparison with Nespresso machines
I think it sounds interesting. I’ve used a ninja for years and swapped it out for my nespresso vertuo plus. The ninja was good, but I don’t think it compares to what I get out of nespresso.
Price discounts available at other retailers
They’ve been deeply discounted on woot. I would recommend waiting until it pops back up there.
Curiosity about coffee brewing techniques and equipment
I was one of them, my bad.
Users comparing Ninja with other brands
Just a heads up, the Braun is cheaper on BB&B and on the Braun website but doesn't have the "hot water" function.
Discussion on alternative coffee machines
Look at Bonavita. Fewer bells and whistles but better coffee.
Discussion on brewing methods and extraction rates
the ceiling is much lower than manual methods, even for much better, more expensive machines.
Curiosity about machine capabilities
that's very cool! can all machines that say 5, 8, 10 etc cups can essentially make fewer cups at one brew?

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion on coffee brewing preferences
it's not tooo bad, anyone who owns it will tell you something similar.
Your coffee is your coffee, so drink it as you please.
Currently she just pours boiling water from the kettle over ground coffee and lets it steep in the cup with a lid — basically we live like savages.
Discussion on personal preferences and experiences with coffee machines
I don't have one, but have a few friends that do and they love it and I enjoy the coffee when I go over.
I actually really love my ninja blender. I use the pitcher attachment and get great blended coffee out of it for work regularly.
General perception that good drip makers perform similarly
I think people tend not to talk much about drip makers as the good ones all inherently do exactly the same thing.
Polarized reviews about performance
very polarized feedback. What machine do you currently use?
