Snoop's Take

The BlueWater Ropes NEW Titan Runner Climbing Sling is a high-strength, lightweight climbing accessory designed for enthusiasts and professionals alike. Made with a composite construction of dyneema and nylon, this 12-inch sling boasts an impressive strength rating of 27kN, making it suitable for various climbing applications. Consumer feedback highlights several strengths of the Titan Runner, particularly its simplicity for beginners and its high durability. Many users appreciate its lightweight design, stating, "This is the lightest setup I have found," while others have remarked on the quality of materials, with one reviewer noting, "It's ridiculously strong." However, some feedback points out limitations, such as the 12-inch length being considered less useful for certain climbing scenarios. Overall, while the BlueWater Ropes Titan Runner Climbing Sling has received positive feedback for its strength and lightweight design, its shorter length may limit its practical applications for some users. It is recommended for those who value strength and minimalism in their climbing gear but may not suit everyone’s needs depending on climbing style.

I did enjoy how simple it was to follow.

Positive Feedback

Still used it to train for another race, but told the app I was running 1-2 times less per week so it cut out one of the intense days and did easy runs 'off plan'.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Simple to follow for beginners
I did enjoy how simple it was to follow.
High strength and durability of material
that sling is a composite construction of dyneema and nylon. It has some of the best properties of both including a very high static strength and decent abrasion resistance.
That looks like a dyneema/spectra sling for climbing. Very strong material.
It's ridiculously strong.
Lightweight setup is preferred
This is the lightest setup I have found.
Lightweight and low profile for climbing
Small slings? I bought a handful of these to temporarily replace some sus cam slings.
Yes it’s nice to have that option…It’s also nice to have less material on me if climbing a route that’s fairly straight on and doesn’t require as many long runners.

Where it needs some work!

Led to injury after following the plan
Still used it to train for another race, but told the app I was running 1-2 times less per week so it cut out one of the intense days and did easy runs 'off plan'.
12 inch runners are considered useless
Get 2 cordos, for when you inevitably climb with someone who doesn't have one.
Climbing Sling Myths
Preference for longer dyneema slings
Would rather have a longer dyneema sling and the option to extend.
Limited practical use for short runners
The only function they serve me is to hang gear in my overly packed gear closet, girth hitched to a clothing rod.
