What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
High strength rating
Small sling with what I consider a massive rating, for its size.
That looks like a dyneema/spectra sling for climbing.
Useful for working routes
Best $70 I spent. Really useful for working routes.
Versatile for different climbing techniques
You folks are great
Yeah, I generally just use slings because it works with either swinging leads or blocks.
Strong and reliable for anchor building
Anchors will look cleaner and easier to evaluate.
Bright colors and good visibility
I really love their color scheme but my understanding is that I should probably replace the slings since the general consensus is to replace soft goods every 5-10 years.
Yeah, still brightly colored and not abraded. I'd just keep 'em.
High quality and reliable for climbing
Agree- the Spirit Expresses are great.
Good design for clipping and usability
Notice how the ovals with the gate nose are all for the bolt side and the easy to clip keylock carabiners are all to the rope?
High strength rating for climbing
If you're taking 11kN whips, you're doing something wrong.
I simply don't like knots in dyneema cause it's hard to untie.
Lightweight for alpine climbing
They are also light for alpine stuff.
Dyneema slings for 99% of the time. Lighter weight, lower bulk.

Knots reduce strength in slings
be careful putting knots in slings with dyneema/spectra or any fabric like it that does not stretch or take dye.

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Testing methods for climbing gear
Great videos if you use any of that kind of gear.
Discussion on anchoring techniques with dyneema
Never say "never."
Discussion on material preferences (dyneema vs nylon)
Nylon vs dynex sewn slings/runners. Which do you prefer and for what uses?
Dyneema for extendable draws and extra long runners for gear anchors.
The sewn label and ease of unraveling an alpine draw is worth the premium price imo.
I have a bunch of dyneema slings that I use for setting because it doesn't matter what I use in these situations.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about using slings with zigzag setups
Combined with a friction saver this setup suits me really well.... except....
The sooner you start rope walking, even on a MRS system, the sooner you will start mitigating the risk those extra forces introduce.
Discussion about building a trad rack
My first trad rack My first trad rack
This is a basic sport climbing rack plus some friends and nuts.
Think about getting a set of tricams black to brown.
It would probably be best if you went climbing with someone for a day in your area to see what they use and ask them questions.
Discussion on anchor building techniques
In brief:
Discussion about using Lynx crampons for mountaineering
Can Petzl Lynx or other types of climbing crampons be used for mountaineering? I wanted to know about this for quite a while, and couldn't really find any information online.
Seen plenty of people using Lynx for mountaineering. Are horizontal points better for packed snow/weak ice. Yeah, but it's good enough for most things.
They're fine, if heavy AF, and the antisnow plate is somehow even worse than the other Petzls.
Just because I haven’t seen it brought up yet, Petzl crampons are modular, so if you have the Lynx already you can buy just the front half of whichever other petzl crampon you’d like to use and just swap them out.

Discussion about climbing gear preferences
What must-have tools do you carry on every multi pitch trad climb?
The Gunks is the most well-manicured trad area in the world, and it's at most 3 pitches long.
I prefer a simpler approach.
I would at least ditch the gloves, quicklink, and the grigri.
Personal climbing techniques and safety
it's safe. The zigzag has no extra force on it in this system and that sling is certain not going to break.
Discussion about replacement timelines for climbing gear
They are called dogbones. I wouldn't replace those.
Discussion about different types of slings
Building Trad Rack - Cordelette, slings, runners etc Hey Guys, I am working on building my first trad rack.
why dyneema? nylon slings are just as strong and benefit from stretch
Advice on building a trad rack
Make sure you get enough biners.
Get 2 cordos, for when you inevitably climb with someone who doesn't have one.
Discussion about purchasing climbing gear based on specific needs
Been reading [FOTH](http://www.amazon.com/Mountaineering-Freedom-Hills-50th-Anniversary/dp/1594851387) and [John Long](http://www.amazon.com/How-Rock-Climb-5th/dp/0762755342) to figure out what I need to get.
If you start climbing multi-pitch, you may wish for an ATC-Guide, which lets you belay directly off the anchor without hauling up the grigri.
Suggestions for additional climbing safety gear
You got lots of stuff there, here are my suggestion for added safety:

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion about climbing gear experiences
Overall im very happy with all of my Petzl products.
I work as a climbing arborist and got that same prodeal about a year ago. So obviously, I went crazy
Petzl Rescucender: This is amazing for mechanical advantage.
Static vs dynamic loading in climbing
Both are good.
