Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about tank size and weight improvements over the years.
Tanks just keep coming out lighter and smaller!
The skeptic in me wants to know if anyone has sectioned a tank to see if it's truly 68ci.
Now I can see exactly how much smaller.
using them for every game feels a bit repetitive.
Comments about the appearance and form factor preferences
Great tank, but why a peanut?
Because I like the look of it with the mini GS and I like the form factor in my hands and I like to play with the gun close to my face.
Discussion about tank size and weight improvements over the years
Price isn’t really a issue but im really looking for something as light as possible.
a 77 for most players looking for a 68. 68ci these days are smaller than what they used to be so a 77 today will feel more like a 68 back in the day, size wise.
Discussion about the importance of tank regulators
oh man a $1,000 marker with a steel tank. that does sound bad.
The reg is the most important difference as previously mentioned, but I'm surprised no one pointed out the empire is listed at 48 CU vs the Ninja at 50 CU.
Comparisons of tank sizes and usability
and i’m guessing it will also act as an extension to make up for the 50’s shortness correct?

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about gameplay strategy involving Steam Tanks
TW2: how to use Steam Tanks? Should I use them at all? Also Empire front line infantry Normal difficulty. First time, so I'm scared.
The steam tank is a weird piece. At the start of the battle you would definetly use it as artillery, but they can be used to tank / distract / terror rout.
Your infantry comp depends on the rest of your army. If its a gunline (handgunners or huntsmen), bring spears and halberds to hold.
Y'know how a cannon's projectile pierces through almost every infantry when shooting head on? Now im

Discussion about the need for o-ring kits for maintenance
I have a very slow leak coming from in between the tank and the reg.
I would recommend picking up a universal o ring kit on Amazon for like 30 bucks, comes with all the orings you will ever need
However, unlike me just make sure to service the reg ever so often or, like me, it can give you issues.
Discussion about comparing Ninja and Empire tanks
Obviously the ninja is better but $165 is a lot for a tank for me, and I noticed the Empire tank is very similar at only $134.
Mention of customer service experiences with Ninja
The adjustability and customer service are worth it IMHO.
Suggestion to buy a rival tank made by Ninja
Buy a rival tank it is made by Ninja you get all the benefits of ninja for a cheaper price.
Discussion about Ninja's customer service and reputation
Their customer service is top notch, and their regulators are some of the most popular for a reason.
Ninja makes the best regs around along with them being output adjustable and they support an excellent warranty and bottle replacement program.
ninja is top notch!
Discussion about dropshipping and market practices
Russian Empire started dropshipping my own tanks on Intl. Market I sold them my cheap IW Light Tank and they started straight up just reselling it
Dropshipping tanks. Now I really have seen everything.
There was one time that German Empire lend lease me some guns, but since I already had a huge stockpile, I sold some of it to the market, and the first one who bought it is Germany. I feel like I rip someone off....
Discussion about tank certification differences
Differences between these tanks
I just purchased the hstl tank (arriving today!)
Concerns about buying from Amazon
Also, don't buy from Amazon if you can avoid it.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about leaks and refill logistics for outdoor play
It's still playable just wanting to fix it for outdoor play indoor it is no issue the refill is right there but outdoor games last longer and it's farther to the refill station
BATTLEMODE's Shadow Empire Strategy Podcast - Episode 001 - Light Tanks
Gauge reliability concerns
I haven't actually tested to see if my gauge works properly but I've heard that they are unreliable.
Concerns about tank brand preference and reputation
Going through a local shop is always the best move.
Discussion about tank effectiveness against Skavens
I swapped some of them to tanks and the tanks were tanking Skavens like it was nobody's business.
Empire are combined arms specialists in my opinion, they don't have the very best in any category but they do everything pretty well.
The tanks... they just have something that fills the void in my heart as I watch them ram chaos army... while somehow being healed by life wizards.
I do 5 hand gunners, 5 steam tanks, 2 warrior priests, 1 melee general, 3 rocket batteries, 2 volley
Psychological effects on tank crew in confined space
Being confined to a metal box with only 3 or so others for every waking moment will quickly deteriorate even the most disciplined minds
I think the crew would go crazy
Discussion on the invincibility of tanks in ancient warfare
It's invincible against everything the Romans can throw at it
Many ancient empires used elephants in warfare because they were massive and seen as impossible to beat.
Strategies Romans could use against tanks
They could ravage the countryside for a while, but the Romans would eventually learn that they have to get out of the tank to collect food and water, and could set a trap to pick off the crew while they're vulnerable.
Romans produced repeating ballista, 100 of these would surely destroy a tank.
The tank's psychological impact on Romans
There’s a real possibility they think it’s sent from the gods and might even submit rather than fighting.
It might be argued that a smart soldier would attempt to use the tank to prove himself of divine origin, getting a say on the administration of the empire and causing as much widespread damage as possible from there.
