Snoop's Take

The Valken 48ci 3000psi Paintball Compressed Air Tank is a high-pressure HPA system designed for paintball and airsoft enthusiasts seeking consistent airflow for optimal performance. Made from lightweight aluminum, this tank offers durability without adding unnecessary weight to your gear, making it suitable for players at all skill levels. Feedback highlights its stable 800 PSI output, with users noting that "the tank itself holds 3000psi and you don't exceed that when filling," which is essential for high-performance markers, although some users mention concerns about its weight and air capacity, labeling it as "heavy and doesn't hold a lot of air". Overall, while it has some drawbacks, the Valken 48ci 3000psi tank is recommended for players wanting a reliable air source for their paintball and airsoft activities.

800psi is just a smidge lower than the valve likes.

Positive Feedback

The 48/3000 is an ok beginner tank, but it's heavy and doesn't hold a lot of air.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Stable 800 PSI output for consistent performance
800psi is just a smidge lower than the valve likes.
Valken hpa tank good without a regulator? Just wondering if the regulator that it comes with is good enough.
While the tanks may hold up to 3000 psi, the output pressure of the tank regs won't exceed 800 psi.
The tank itself holds 3000psi and you don't exceed that when filling, the m17 is saying not to have a regulator that outputs more than 850psi which chances are the regulator on your tank is 850 or less as 850 output is the industry standard.
Good regulator for paintball use
Yes, and no, that regulator is needed to fill and keep air in the tank.
Regulator matches CO2 for paintball guns
Ya the reg on the tank is about 800psi to match co2 for paintball guns
Good tank pouch options available for 48ci
I keep my 26ci in a old pod holder which is sealed on the bottom with duck tape on a belt which sometimes gets a little loose while running around all day.
I’ve also seen someone use a camel pouches to hold a 48ci.
The pouch I use is a UK military surplus UGL pouch, which fits a 48ci tank pretty darn well.
Convenient carrying methods for remote setups
Just be aware that depending on how you carry the tanks and the length of your remote, it can be hard to reach the shut off, worth getting a remote with a slide check on it to de-gas the marker.
I’ve got a tank holder that straps onto my molle in the back, when I use a remote at all.
Good regulator for consistent performance
A higher quality reg is likely more consistent with its output pressure but that really doesn't do a whole lot depending on your gun.
What sets a good reg apart from an average reg is the consistency with which it settles at the desired output pressure and of course the flow rate.
Stable performance with high-pressure output
How many shots can I get with a 0.48 CI HPA Tank 3000PSI and a Wolverine MTW Billet Gen 3 shooting at 100PSI, currently the tank pressure is around 1500 PSI
I get around 2500 out of a full 0.8l 48ci tank. So maybe still 1000-1500.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
48/3000 tank is considered heavy and has low air capacity
The 48/3000 is an ok beginner tank, but it's heavy and doesn't hold a lot of air.
Have these used gear that have been stored and wanted to know if they are still good.
Tank is considered heavy and has low air capacity
This is an outrage! This is Fascism! The prologue tank clearly won the last vote by over 50 points!
Valken vs ninja for a 13ci tank Is it worth the extra money to go for the ninja or is the Valken just as good?
Considered heavy with low air capacity
There is a difference between a tank's storage pressure and its output pressure.
Tank considered heavy with low air capacity
buying an empty tank is only a few dollars savings, so you may be better off buy the combo and installing your tried and true preferred reg and selling the new reg.
Aah, ok so you think I must have lost a bit of air since at first I couldn’t get it to connect and lost some air like half a dozen times
Possible faulty tank causing air leakage
it emptied my valken tank instead and it works fine with my friends tanks
it bleeds all the air out the valken tank instead of the excess air
I hope I'm not the only one who assumed that the tank was made entirely of fiberglass...
Tank is considered heavy with low air capacity
When I was playing a lot I don't I ever thought how close to my heart I was holding a high-pressure tank that could kill me if something was manufactured/designed wrong.

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on weight preferences between tank types
used it one day and sold it for a carbon fiber cause carbon fiber was way lighter and I could get more shots
Discussion on tank output pressure vs storage pressure
Does this mean theyre both rated for 3000psi?
Discussion on the relationship between regulator quality and performance
It theoretically makes your gun more accurate. That's as good as it gets ^^
Unless your running your gun with no reg after the tank which no one is the tank reg just has to recharge fast enough to keep feeding the next reg.
General praise for the setup aesthetics
I love it. I’ve got nearly the same colorway etek5 and it’s been shooting nicely after probably 60 cases now.
colors on point looks clean, love it

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion on ideal tank carrying methods
Best way to carry HPA tanks? 1.1L 4500psi tank + wolverine storm regulator.
Most "tactical" backpacks have a hydro bladder pouch, which will hold tanks pretty snug.
Thought about adding foam cutouts so my tank move around less too.
Suggestions for better carrying solutions
It works great for water and air.
Discussion on using a big breathing air tank to fill the Valken HPA tank
Hello, was wondering if anyone knew if I can use my big breathing air tank to fill up my Valken HPA tank; and if I can what adapter or other equipment I’d need to do it.
yes you can. Use [This](https://www.evike.com/products/54798/) fill station adaptor for your tank. Make sure that you use a hose that's rated for 3000psi.
Not too sure, got them filled at the same place but it was a dive shop so couldn’t say for sure. Believe its just air though.

How are those knee pads? Was looking at possibly getting a pair. Do the sizes run true or too small or too big?
