This is what I have been using. New yogurt maker here and its great and easy to use
The Luvelle yogurt maker has been flawless for me so far, it holds the temperature well, and you can set it for up to 36 hours.
My main concern is making sure that the device will keep the milk in the appropriate temperature range to not kill off the probiotics.

Once done hit the start button and the time led should flash again, waiting for the number of hours to be set with the +\- then hit the start button and both white leds should be on and the hour displayed.
Once you set input, it will stay. First you have to set temperature, then hour.
Works without a water bath method
My yoghurt maker doesn't use the water bath method, the jars just go in and sit on the plastic base.
Mine also does not require water and works great.

Boil feature doesn't reach required temperature
So what I found was that the "BOIL" feature doesn't get anywhere near 180 degrees, and I end up with runny yogurt.
Thick milk instead of yogurt
Has anyone successfully made yogurt in their Foodi? I gave it a shot for the first time yesterday and just followed the directions/prompts on the screen, but I have wound up with very thick milk when I expected more of a yogurt consistency out of the gate.
Requires precise temperature control when adding starter
If using regular milk, after you boil the milk it must ABSOLUTELY get back down to 105-115 degrees F before you add the starter culture or you will kill it and end up with milk.
Requires scalding and cooling process
The scalding process doesn't take long, but the cooling process takes a while and I'm always stuck standing by my yogurt and stirring it to make sure it cools equally.
Word of mouth tells me “no”. I’ve heard that you wind up with a product that tastes virtually the same as store bought yogurt at a similar price.

I'm wondering if the yogurt maker would actually be handy.
Some pots have ability to set precise temps, but mine just has the yogurt setting, which I have verified at 106F +/- 2 degrees.
What's important to me is the ability to set a specific temperature (110°F) instead of having the default setting of 120°F that my current machine has.
My instant pot has been flawless for years. Plus it’s versatile so not blowing storage/counter space on a one trick pony.
