Snoop's Take

The Bodyprox Protective Knee Pads are designed to offer support and protection for your knees during various outdoor sports activities. Made from high-density foam and breathable fabric, these knee pads aim to provide comfort and prevent injuries while ensuring a good fit for users of different sizes. Consumer feedback highlights several strengths of the Bodyprox knee pads, including their lightweight design and effective cushioning, with one user noting, "I almost forget they're there." Many appreciate the non-slip feature, ensuring the pads stay in place during use. However, some users have raised concerns about breathability and durability, mentioning that the pads can cause sweating and that the foam may tear with frequent use. Overall, the Bodyprox Protective Knee Pads are well-recommended for entry-level sports and casual use, especially for those looking for affordable protection. With a blend of positive feedback and some critiques, they serve as a solid option for anyone starting out in sports or seeking knee protection on a budget.

Good compressive fit and stability
Hydras - they have a good compressive fit and they do not move.
I use these too. I had knee surgery five years ago, been using these pads for three years and they hold me up for whole tournament weekends.
Hydra by a country mile, like others have said they don't move and are super comfortable to wear.
Easy return process
They shipped the return label with the new set, it was so easy.
Lightweight and comfortable for extended wear
I have the same, once they're on I almost forget they're there.
I have those, and I never had any problems pedaling with them. So +1 from me.
Good grip and non-slip feature
Bodyprox seem to be the most slip resistant now days.
Knee pads provide impact support
Should I just get a pair now and wear them as a preventative measure or is it not necessary?
All I know is a lot of wrestlers get knee pads, old and young.
there's no backside to wearing them so why not? will help a lot with impact and also obvious joint support
Good performance on softer snow
I do have their [Bodyprox Protective Knee Pads] they do well on softer snow and wet but, was considering using [187 Killer Pads Pro Derby Pads] for park and icier ground.
The body prox knee pads are the ones I'm currently using. Totally agree that they're good on soft snow but it still hurts and bruises my bony knees if I fall on ice or on a park feature.
Effective cushioning for knees
they are pretty affordable and really cushion your knees during knees and bad check.
Affordable price point
Bodyprox protective knee pads. I ordered them off of Amazon and the price point is awesome.
Good for starting out in sports
Great when starting out and not ready to invest in specialized caving kneepads yet.

Not breathable, can cause sweating
Nah, after about an hour of play during a hot day mine are soaked through, and don't stay in place as well.
Pads lack breathability and can cause sweating
Yeah but be aware the pads don't breathe and when you take them out so you can wash the sleeve or over time as you bend them when putting them on and off the foam tears/cracks.
Durability issues with foam tearing or cracking
The newer ones rip too easily but can be extremely cheap on sale.
Knee pads slide down during use
Knee pads slide down a lot.
