Climbing Technology itself may sound dodgey, but is definitely on the same level of reliability and quality as BD, Petzl, etc.

Positive Feedback

It's a newer brand but they do pretty much everything and it's becoming really popular especially for bolting crags.

RollnLock provides reliable performance for rope soloing
The cinch proved to be very reliable, the rope never slipped enough to make the prusik grab the rope.
They are nothing like fighting a grigri to feed rope or futzing with a prussic.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Brand known in Europe
It's a known brand from Italy. There stuff is good and sometimes better than petzl.
Discussion about different climbing gear preferences
So my question is if you have some favourite devices
It’s a great little progress capture too for hauling gear.
I really like the get up from skylotec
Using a CRIC with a foot loop has eliminated a lot of typical gear I used to carry; pulley, basic, hand ascender and depending on your risk tolerance it’s an easy back up …. 🤫
Discussion about alternative pulley designs
Pulley Braces Review Write-up on Swiss and American products called "Pulley Braces." The few areas I could use some help with....
There a plenty of other designs I've seen floating around in the climbing world and also in the hand therapy literature.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about climbing technique and training
it feels like my pulleys will rip.
Not being able to hang a 15mm edge is indeed pretty weak for v6-7 board climbing.
> Not being able to hang a 15mm edge is indeed pretty weak for v6-7 board climbing. Like really wea
it’s pretty easy to catch a hold in a drag and then curl your fingers into a crimp, but also harder on the pulleys.
Discussion about different solo climbing setups
I like my microtraxion chest harness toprope solo rig.

Recovery takes longer than expected for climbing injuries
thumbs up for three torn a2 pulleys!!! can’t climb for 2 months.
All that rehab you ought to do before climbing. Pulleys need some serious PT before climbing again to prevent re injury.
The heavy bandaging isn't an encouraging sign though.
it was over 3 months before I could climb anywhere close to what I used to do.
Discussion about climbing techniques and equipment
since I’m more or less self taught and don’t have anyone to verify or correct me, I was wondering if this looks alright or if there’s something obvious I should be doing differently
Would the prussik loop be better served before the alpine on the working side?
Good location / Redundant / Equalized / Acute / Time Sensitive.
Maybe unorthodox but that a more appropriate distance than when the orange pulley was directly on the aluminum carabiner.
Inquiry about finding pulley rings/brace
Where can I find these pulley rings/brace?

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Brand gaining popularity for specific uses
It's a newer brand but they do pretty much everything and it's becoming really popular especially for bolting crags.
Discussion about pulley injuries and recovery techniques
Pulley injury recovery? For those who have had pulley injuries, did you wait until zero pain before climbing- how long was that? Did the pain ever go away?
I’ve heard that pulleys and tendons don’t directly have pain receptors so our bodies use strain to determine what should cause pain in them, and that limit before pain decreases heavily after an injury to protect the soft tissue from further injury.
After 2.5 months, it should be healed up in my experience and controlled loading of the pulley should help recover from it.
Do extremely lite hangboarding and also rubber band resistance exercises! Had many injuries myself and this has been my shining bullet.
Personal experiences shared about climbing injuries and rehab
Going to start prioritizing fluid intake a lot lot more!
