Discussion on safety gear usage in climbing
How to kill off new climbers courtesy of the amazon marketplace
Good thing she’s wearing a glove on the brake hand… she’ll need it.
Yeah that’s how it works. The device catches the fall by eating the glove. Jeez man do you even climb? /s
Guys, don't worry, she realized her mistake just in time and switched to a Grigri.
Discussion on climbing glove features
Don't those grippy dots go on the palm?
It might be a slash resistant glove, in which case they're hard plastic dots in a funny pattern that avoids long straight undotted lines, and it would make sense for them to be on the back in some cases (not this one).
Discussion on quality and performance of climbing kits

thumbs up for three torn a2 pulleys!!! can’t climb for 2 months. any suggestions for ways to stay in
Oh buddy you’re gonna need to be out for more than two months for that. All that rehab you ought to

Curiosity about lesser-known climbing gear brands
Thoughts on Amazon Budget gear? Just curious to hear your thoughts on all of the not name brand gear available on amazon.
Don't do it.
Climbing Technology is a legit brand.
They're super cheap but I'm too scared and poor to buy cams that are not BD.
Discussion on brand reputation in climbing gear
Locally we have the "Climbing Technology Up Lock Pulley." I'm a bit apprehensive purchasing non-Petzl, but it does seem to have proper Certifications and not be some Chinese crap brand, also being listed on what appears to be a potentially reputable local website.
Climbing technology is a pretty well known brand in europe, i have a hand acsender from them and i am quite happy with it.
Discussion about forearm injuries related to climbing
my forearm feels incredibly tight and when I stretch my forearm there is considerable tightness in the tendon and discomfort.
a few weeks is the bare minimum healing time. climb easier, pumpier stuff and don't stress your tendons for another few months.
I've just never felt tightness like this in my forearm before, even when the pulley felt much worse.
Look up taping for pulleys if you havent done so already. You shouldnt climb without tape for this injury.
