Pulleys make a huge difference. I replaced all the plastic ones on my titan lat pull down with aluminum and nylon pulleys off of a precor s13 and it's like a whole new machine.
If you have a stone that is impossible to lift if you have a rope and one pulley.
I think the swivel is imperative frankly, but also think you need good quality pulleys.

Discussion on the effectiveness of ball bearing pulleys vs sleeve bearing pulleys
I'm going to piggyback on /u/tiefighter_tyler comment and ask: If you're going to spend money why buy just a single purpose pulley?
The answer probably depends on the answer to another question: how likely are you to rig a 3:1?

Discussion about gear compatibility and recommendations
I would buy a petzl roll clip for the hand descender and just any small carabineer for the foot loop
Maybe stick with Petzl? Seems you enjoy their gear and if you end up with something like a chicane, it will only accept Petzl H frame carabiners afaik.
Genuine question, but why not just get a knee and foot ascender? You already have a zigzag. A saka folding knee ascender is probably cheaper then what you spent on these 3 piece of gear.
The point is to transfer the money in YOUR wallet into the bank account of the after market pulley manufacturer
Considerations for pulley setups in specific climbing scenarios
That's also really good information regarding where it is most efficient to place the pulley.
Not sure why you need to change out your belay device for a pulley when assisting a second past the crux.
I normally don't bother with a pulley at all.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion on pulley mechanics and energy efficiency
You trade distance for force. If you have no pulleys, you pull the rope 1 meter and the other end raises 1 meter.
How does one pulley change the distance you have to pull? I’m having trouble with that. If you have a weight, one pulley directly above it, and a rope, you’d still have to pull one meter of rope over that pulley to raise it one meter up. Can you elaborate?
This is incorrect. if you have one pulley, you simply change the direction of applied force. Think of a pulley on the ceiling and you lifting a box on the floor with a rope through the pulley. Instead of having to lift the box, you could hang on the rope. The same amount of force is needed.
A pulley works on the same principle as a lever: it trades force for distance.
