Ooni perforated launching peel works well
These work well.
Perforated design sheds excess flour for smooth launching
the excess flour falls through the perforations - it helps a lot with launching the pizzas!
Wood peels are nice too, but can contribute to excess flour and therefore a more “cakey” undercook.
The only advantage of a metal launching peel is the pores which help flour shake off the bottom of the pizza.
Works great for launching and turning. I’ve had no issues with sticking and still looks great.
Ooni perforated peel works well
We have the perforated peel from Ooni $60 works perfectly.
Serious Eats recommends the ooni perforated peel.

Perforated design can cause dough to stick in the holes
We didn’t like the perforated peels. The raw dough gets stuck in the holes.
I absolutely hate it. Sticks where my wood+solid metal never did.
I have had better luck with the wooden peel.
Using one peel for both launching and retrieving can lead to overheating and reduced performance
If you do 2 more more pizzas in an evening, you are better off with 2 peels, rather than one "that you can both launch and retrieve".
Ooni turning peel may be unnecessary when a normal metal peel works fine
Just use your normal metal peel.
Ooni turning peel is overpriced compared to alternatives
$60 for ooni turning peel when you can get a perfectly good one for $20 bucks.

Makes me look a little more badass to my pizza eating guests.

I use a wood peel with semolina (not flour) and I've never had an issue with it sticking.
The best way to do it is build the pizza on the counter, then move to the peel before launching and launch immediately.
