Discussion on effectiveness of features for building character setups.
Recently got back into the game, had enough atoms to purchase the catch up pack with the auto axe, so I started a new character.
For my Full Health Auto Axe build I use Overeaters Power Armor. For mods, all the limbs are Optimized.
Is there any way to level up a legendary or do I have to get lucky again? As I'm 99% sure I have V/40/something else auto axe, but it's level 25
Would I go Bloodied or vampire auto axe?

Discussion on safe axe handling techniques
I’m 15 learning how to use an axe:)
Oh God! I thought you were going to put the axe in your foot! Try standing with your feet square, about shoulder width.
Anytime is a good time to learn!
Go look online for info on proper stances and grips, you are not using the axes in the safest way.
Encouragement for young users to learn axe skills
It’s awesome someone your age is interested in learning to use a tool like that!

Discussion on the practicality of hatchets vs axes in survival situations
Which do you think is better, hatchets or axes Can be for any specific purpose or reason in survival
Ultimately like with most weapons I feel it would differ based on the situation. Like if I am in a narrow hallway with little room to maneuver I will take the hatchet, but if I'm in an open field completely surrounded but have plenty of room to swing then I'm still gonna take the hatchet because it will be easier to swing at my own head than the axe.
If I'm making a base though, I'll use the axe for felling the trees to build the palisade.
I prefer the hatchet regardless. I'm a big guy though. You add a 1' handle to a 3' arm. Honestly, all I really need is the sharp weighted edge and protection for my hand in combat. If I'm legit, fell trees and splitting wood with combat, yes axe for extra leverage. A human is not as hard of a target as an oak.
Discussion on Tactical Axes effectiveness versus Combat Axes
As much as I love the aesthetics, I feel like they don't do anything special.
They also don't have the sweep profiles necessary to really take advantage of Brutal Momentum in most proper encounters.
Weapon quality appears to be a weaker version of metal type.
The tax axes scale way better with finesse damage than combat axes.
Discussion on the obsession with brands in the axe community
Tools are meant to be used, worked, abused, do the job.
You don't need a Hults, Gransfors or one of Andy's Amazing Axes(tm) for 300 dollars to split that bit of kindling on your yearly camping trip.
Axes, to me, are stories more than tools.
