Modern electric pressure cookers are safer than older models
Mostly I can fish, which takes 100 minutes. Time well spent to know I’m not accidentally making a fish bomb.
Mine has a silicon plug in the lid that blows out if it's over pressure, it would be really hard to clog because it's just a section of the lid.
I'm using mine in 5 hours rip.
Modern electric pressure cooker has automatic off switch when temperature goes too high, mechanical lock-in to prevent the lid from opening when pressure is not released, safety pressure valve to release extra pressure, and the main pressure release gets blown off if pressure is dangerously high.
Electric pressure cookers have multiple safety features
The pressure cookers I have you really can not open with any sort of pressure inside, and going from "under pressure" to "open" requires going through the "venting" position, so unless you're facing the vent (which is difficult as the control is on the other side, you'd have to be reaching over and around) it's almost impossible to eat steam.
Mine has a pin that drops down and locks the lid in place until the pressure drops back to a safe level to open it.
Six-quart size is ideal for most recipes
Most recipes are written for a six quart cooker, but I personally find that an eight quart works just as well (And the added volume is a plus for making things like stock).

I am most interested in a single-purpose pressure cooker, not a multi-cooker, but I am open to a multi-cooker if there are models that pressure cook as well as a dedicated model.
I always used a stovetop pressure cooker until I got a free instant pot, and now I can't think of a single reason to use the stovetop model anymore.
Yeah, get an instant pot. Another advantage is that you don’t have to keep an eye on it like you do with stovetop pressure cookers.
Hard to beat the 6qt Instant Pot and get the transparent lid accessory.
