What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Makes low sugar and dairy-free ice cream
The creami is great for making low sugar, proteïne ice cream, dairy free or any type of sorbet ice cream.
I’ve been making better tasting high protein ice cream with lower calories and better texture than the ones found in store.
I bought the Ninja Creami because I struggle with lactose and store bought options are expensive and have very little variety.
Versatile with multiple settings for different treats
the “blade” works from the top down allows it to mix far better than a blender would.
All of his recipes works perfectly with ninja creami: you always need only one spin, and it stay scoopable after days in the freezer without needing to re spin.
Overall, I love my ninja creami as it’s made staying on a diet much more fun and consistent for me.
If you love ice cream but are remotely health conscious it's amazing.
Produces better tasting ice cream than store-bought options
So both are useful. Depends on what you want.
Convenient for home use
The Creami is already want it thinking because I can take whatever ingredients I want an make ice cream with say some Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
It’s better to get an industrial machine if you plan to make A LOT of ice cream, but they are not very convenient to use.
It literally takes like 5 minutes. I just scroll my phone while I wait for it to do its thing.
Easy to use for homemade ice cream

Excels at making zero/low sugar recipes
the Ninja Creami seems to excel at making zero/low sugar recipes, gelatos, sorbets, and frozen yogurt.
Produces good texture and flavor with healthy ingredients
pros for Ninja Creami seem to be texture/flavor even with bases made from things like almond milk and protein powder
Great for making low sugar and protein-rich ice cream
Get a Creami.
Great investment for daily use
I use it every day (twice most days) and it has made getting my daily protein insanely easy and delicious.
Produces better texture with correct recipes
Far better than what you get with a basic home churner, and with much less hassle to get it out of the churner and into the freezer as fast as humanly possible.
Honestly comparing it to a tub of regular vanilla, mine from the Creami had a less icy texture and was scoopable for many days in the freezer.
Makes healthy ice cream options
I like it because I can make ice cream healthy lol.
Cost-effective compared to store-bought ice cream
All I need for my creami is milk and some almond milk and I can make like 15-20 pints for the cost of maybe $7
Control over calorie density and texture
In terms of volume eating ice cream , it is 100% a game changer. You have full control over the calorie density without compromising on the texture.
Produces creamy ice cream
Really good if you don't mind fake sugar. The ice cream is super creamy.
Reliably makes delicious ice cream
Reliably and easily makes delicious ice cream
Grabbed this a couple weeks ago and love it.
Great for making soft-serve treats
it was amazing. The texture was great, too, just like regular soft-serve.
Cost-effective compared to industrial machines
But for $200, not a bad deal at all.
Makes delicious low carb and dairy-free ice cream
The Creami does a really good job at blasting through frozen bases, even products with lower sugar and fat content were processed with little issue.
For the most part, my ice cream is great. Rarely have to do a respin.
Versatile for creating a variety of flavors
I'm always looking for interesting ways to up my ice cream game and create interesting flavors.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Calibration issues cause inconsistent ice cream placement
Ice cream machine that never puts sticks right
It‘s even the same side, it‘s left, right, left, right…
It’s probably not calibrated correctly
Yup, the treats are coming down in pairs. Sticky is consistent.
Sticks not being inserted correctly
Gotta stop creaming so close.
Too far apart. Or the machine hasn't been calibrated correctly
It's not the stick machine's fault.
Requires reprocessing if frozen too hard
Wait, so if it goes back in the freezer after processing it in the creami, wouldn't it harden and need to get put back in the ninja creami before becoming usable again?
I’ve found after the refreeze, letting it sit out for 10-15 minutes usually gets it to a scoopable consistency again.
Takes a long time to prepare compared to compressor machines
The compressor machine should be double the price of a Creami.
Has had failures reported by users
I had plenty of failures with the creami.
Limited ice cream capabilities
I've got the Ninja Creami and it's been relegated to making smoothie bowls.
Not satisfying for traditional ice cream texture
DON'T get the Ninja Creami.
Inconsistent results with incorrect recipes
What a waste of money that machine is...
Concerns about plastic shedding into ice cream
I have a 30+ year-old Cuisinart ice cream maker, the technology today is exactly the same. Works like a charm period.
Ice cream freezes too hard and melts faster than traditional methods
Everything refreezes rock hard and also somehow melts (after processing) much faster than traditionally churned ice cream.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Humorous takes on the ice cream making process
They are called ice creams , hope this helps
Stabs someone with the ice cream
Makes me think of the cakes that have pointed wood dowels in them for support, and how people sometimes have their faces pushed into these cakes.
Remember, switching to your ice cream is quicker than reloading.
Comments on the features and performance of compressor machines
1000%. I have the Breville Smart Scoop for 5-6 years and works great.
Discussion on traditional vs. new ice cream making techniques
Sounds like I can live without FOMO with this machine!
Incredible results.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about ice cream recipes and tips
As someone who likes crunch in their ice cream, this seems like such a great idea.
Curiosity about using fruits as ingredients
What does „fruit in some cases“ mean? Can I put fruit in the mix?
It depends, since it’s not a blender it will struggle to blend like frozen fruit just plain.
Discussion on ice cream making techniques and recipes
Creami (and Pacojet) works by making your mix, freezing it solid, and putting it into the machine.
>Also, emulsifiers (egg yolks) are needed to ensure that the fats are dispersed in fine droplets ins
Discussion on using multiple ice cream makers for different purposes
how ridiculous would it be to register for them both?
Discussion on alternative ice cream options
Losercity ice cream
Well, better than the alternatives at least.
ah yes... the "alternative" indeed.
I’ll take the alternative. I like my ice cream soft serve and well processed.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Discussion about ice cream machines options
You realize there are also non-creami consumer grade ice cream machines right? You don't have to go industrial.
Discussion about ice cream spacing issues
That’s just the trade off to having ice creams with different compositions than normal full fat high sugar lactose based ice creams.
I started halving the amount I freeze (just 1 cup of liquid/vegan milk). comes to about 1/4-1/3 of the container once made
Discussion on differences between ice cream machines
if you want to freeze basically anything that'll free into a hard block and make something ice creamish, a creami will do it.
Discussion on alternatives to Ninja Creami
Ninja creami alternatives Broke kid here with no ninja creami.
Comparison between Ninja Creami and a blender
A creami is not a blender, it's an ice cream maker.
Frugal alternatives for making ice cream
Freeze your ice cream base in an ice cube tray, put in blender, add a bit of milk, blend until smooth.
The dessert I make on a daily basis is ice-cream-like, very few ingredients, doesn't require freezing so you can eat it immediately, and you only need handheld immersion blender to make it.
Discussion about upgrading from older ice cream machines
My Gelato Chef is geting a bit past it, and I fancy an upgrade.
Comparisons to other ice cream makers
Super happy with mine, huge upgrade over my old freeze-the-bowl Cuisinarts
Discussion on finding Ninja Creami units in stock
No one seems to have any in stock or even Amazon won’t deliver till late next month.
Discussion on comparisons with other ice cream machines
Both recommend it.
I think I tend to be biased more towards heavy-duty commercial equipment because it's what I've used for so long.
Curiosity about local availability and pricing
Just noticed last week that our local Costco has these now for $170 and change.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion on ice cream spacing issues
Yep, definitely a spacing issue. You can clearly see them in groups of two.
Probably set for the spacing between two boxes when it's between two Popsicles in the same box, and it thinks it's between the two in the same box when it's between boxes.
The ice cream service was very satisfying.
Discussion about the Ninja Creami's health benefits
the healthier aspect is important to me
Ice cream man having the time of his life
Amazing mass fight to the music of an ice cream truck
