What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Reliable performance for commercial use
Have used them for years for my store and dont need to wait weeks to months for delivery like you do with alibaba.
Yes it is and has been great
Works great for various dessert mixes
Both machines work great for soft serve dairy, non-dairy like DoleWhip, or sorbet mixes.
Effective for holding ice cream overnight
It kind of depends on the mix you’re using. Lots of commercially made mixes are made to get beaten over and over, melted up to holding temps overnight, and refrozen and beaten again the following day.
The product holds over overnight well, keeping it below 40F. The product comes out nice and firm, and with the ability to change the hardness, if you decide to do a different product (froyo, Italian ice, etc), you should be able to find the right setting for perfect consistency.
Surprisingly good performance
but it performed well. I'm just an ice cream hobbyist, so i only use it occasionally on the weekends.
Affordable for small businesses
But, I havent heard or seen them being used.
Overall: It was worth it, considering how much time it saves me and for the price.
Effective cleaning solution available
definitely kills all the grease!
Reliable performance with multiple machines
Even with the failure of the one machine, they've definitely been worth it.
Helpful customer support available
Overall, we're quite happy with them.

Potential need for technician repairs for heavy use
If you’re making just a batch or so a week, this should be fine.
Poor customer service and support
No support. Chinese shit company who will not respond when their product shits the bed.
Vevor is terrible run, don't walk away from this
No support. Chinese shit company who will not respond when their product shits the bed.
I have not gotten their ice cream machine, but I have gotten ice cream molds and a portable freezer through them. I've been very happy.
Difficulty in obtaining service and parts
Past thread [here](https://np.reddit.com/r/icecreamery/comments/114ilxh/any_experiences_with_vevor_ice_cream_machines/).
Issues with dasher functionality
The dasher isn't working and was told by Vevor I need to lower the cooling temperature by 3 degrees but have not been told how to do this.
Dasher functionality issues reported
The dasher isnt working and I was told by the company I need to lower the cooling temperature 3 degrees.
Issues with machine operation and functionality
I followed a cuisinart soft serve recipe but it didn't work in this machine (I think it's because it called for whipping cream which froze wierd).
It stops and beeps if it is on cleaning or freezing mode.
Confusing instructions for operation
The machine is working great but the technical info says it can keep product cool overnight.
Issues with machine repairs and warranty claims
They really do know their stuff.

Comparison to cheaper alternatives
Chinese ice cream machine? Anyone ordered any of the 600USD ice cream machine from alibaba or know why one would or would not get one?
Discussion on affordability of machines
Just wondering if anyone here has used vevor machines for making italian ice and what their experience was like?
Discussion on cleaning practices and maintenance
We have a made a small batch to test out the machine and all went fine but I'm just wondering if any of you leave ice cream in it like over night to use the next day?
Discussion on the high price of the machine
$1200 for an ice cream machine?
Why did she need to show the price?? She was looking at another one that was like $120 and decided to go with the most expensive one, which is fine… but don’t flaunt it? It’s gross.
This is a commercial ice cream maker than makes 7 gallons an hour…. she’s an idiot
She’ll buy this 1200 machine and post a tik tok about how she’s so unsure about life and how she’s sad 😂
High initial cost for commercial ice cream machines
Is there something that can accomplish exactly this but without paying 10 000$ on a taylor machine?
There really isn't a strong model below 5kish in the "commercial" grade.
A new commercial machine is extremely expensive, and used ones are likely to break down eventually, requiring significant repair costs.
Cleaning and maintenance are time-consuming
They can pull a lot of electricity, they need to be cleaned often to prevent mold and mildew build up, and they can be noisy.
Commercial machines are not suitable for home use
There are situations where having commercial food processing equipment at home makes sense and situations where this would be a terrible idea.
Consideration of power requirements for machines
Using the 200A panel as an example to keep the numbers simple - if you use 110 machines, you can only put 5 of them in the panel (assuming no other equipment in the panel and machines running 100% of the time, which is not actually the case).
Discussion on commercial ice cream machine recommendations
Heard good things about Emery Thompson but they can't be the only game in town.
Vast vast improvement. Less expensive, more efficient, better overrun.
I use electro freeze because the Sonics in my area use them, which means I can get parts and service the same day something breaks.
Once my compressor and computer was replaced I have one of the fastest 350s with a freezing time of 5 mins.
