Snoop's Take

The Maddog Dye Rize CZR Full Auto Paintball Gun Marker is an all-in-one starter package designed for both new and experienced paintball enthusiasts. It includes a Dye RIZE CZR marker, a 48/3000 HPA tank, an Empire Halo Too electronic loader, and a 4-pod harness, making it a comprehensive kit for immersive gameplay. Consumer feedback highlights the excellent performance and reliability of the Dye RIZE CZR, with users praising its ease of maintenance and ergonomic design. Many have noted that "the thing just feels good to shoot," and that it offers great value for money, with one user stating, "Dye Rize CZR is slept on." However, some concerns were raised regarding the quality of bundled equipment and battery drain issues, indicating that while the marker itself is impressive, the accessories may not meet the same standards. Overall, the Maddog Dye Rize CZR Full Auto Paintball Gun Marker is highly recommended for its category, particularly for those seeking a reliable and budget-friendly option. Its strong performance and favorable user sentiment make it a worthy choice for both beginners and seasoned players alike.

Anyone else likes how there DYE RIZE CZR performs? I love it!!
I have the grey and blue as well and I love it. It’s underrated and I would take it over a mini gs any day, shoots great and maintenance is a breeze.
So this marker that im looking at comes with a c02 can does that necessarily mean its only meant for c02 or can i put a hpa bottle on it
Your choice of marker is good for starting out. Really, anything Tippmann is great for a first marker.
Easy to maintain
Hope it doesn't disappoint.
They're workhorses and easy to maintain.
Reliable performance
He still likes the 180r for the conveniences offered but felt the czr shot and performed just as well.
Great performance and reliability
Love it. Dye Rize CZR.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Bundled equipment quality is questionable
Bundles are an excuse to shill the most garbage equipment they can find on you with an ok gun.
The kit you linked sucks ass.
And it isn't unusual for a quest NPC to end up underground, in a wall, etc.
Starter packs provide poor value
New marker Is this a good marker and a good deal?
Starter packs or kits or bundles or whatever a retailer chooses to call them are virtually always poor values.
Battery drain issue
it is just underwhelming.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about opinions on minor differences in markers
It isn’t like a hoseless design has any performance benefit, it isn’t like any gun on the market has trouble with 10bps, a couple of oz of weight will make zero difference in measurable performance.
Experiences shared about older models
The shot quality is reasonably smooth and not overly poppy, with minimal felt recoil.
Discussion about programming features
Getting a hopper and tank with it, does anyone have thoughts about the CZR?

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Discussion about barrel compatibility for affordable markers
Whatever that means….. I just need 10 reasonably priced, non-plastic barrels that will fit these Maddog JT Stealths I have… PLEASE HELP!! Links would help me a lot!
Spyder threads are correct for your markers. That said, for as inexpensive as these are, new barrels will cost as much as the markers.
Did you buy a chronograph? You'll need one to ensure that the markers aren't shooting above safe limits.
Discussion about bundles and used markers
Don't buy bundles first of all, and I recommend you buy your marker used
When it comes to the most reliable marker in this range the general advice seems to be the Etha line from planet eclipse.
I have an Etha 2 that I love. GS Mini is a great gun and also it’s bigger brother the axe.
Advice to buy used gear for savings
Absolutely love it. If you don’t want to spend the money on the Emek go with this.
Advice on ensuring air flow to the marker
Sounds dumb but check to make sure the marker is getting air
Discussion about entry-level markers
I’d recommend that or an Etha 2/3 if you want a solid entry level electro marker.
Discussion about lube recommendations for markers
New Player Here, How do I know what lube works for my marker best? I have a Madddog Hk Army SABR and want to know the best lube for the marker? Help is appreciated.
For stacked tubed markers like the Sabr, I use air tool oil usually. It's about $4 for a bottle that will last your a lifetime at Harbor Freight.
It's just an HK Army SABR. Maddog is just who made some of the other gear in whatever package you must have bought.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Discussion about battery issues and power
I haven’t changed any settings on it and I’ve just been using it as is out of the box.
Make sure your HPA tank has sufficient pressure and is screwed all the way into the ASA.
Discussion about the marker's readiness to fire despite issues
it’s not leaking, not firing, but is still producing enough air on a trigger pull to roll a ball out but not power a full shot?
