I purchased the precision despite the negative reviews I read and it has performed flawlessly.
The nano does take a bit more time to heat up but it’s not very significant.

What is APP? Do you mean their phone app? You have to pay to use it? That's insane.
I understand them having to pay for software development, but the functionality that is there should absolutely be free.
Discontinuation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for older models
Anova makes sous vide machines for cooking. It’s annoying they are discontinuing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through their app for some of their older models.
Precision Cooker is noisier than the Nano
the new Precision Cookers are rather noisy, so if choosing between those 2 based on noise, it's not a huge difference.
Quality issues with replacement parts
Since I didn't purchase it from an 'authorized' seller, they basically said we'll send you the replacement impeller, but don't expect any further warranty service.

I think you are correct, it will be positioned at the top end of the market but I think it will be tough to achieve the same premium as Gaggenau because a Sous Vide stick is not a display item in the same way as a Gaggenau oven is.
